It's not the subs fault at all. I'd take a BL over a w7 even if the BL was 100$ and the JL was free. Like people were saying, why do you care if it's loud on the outside? I mean who gives a flying fuck. If people cared about the outside then they would have subs and crap mounted on the outside of the car. All you hear on the outside anyway is just a bunch of rattle. Plus, you probably just want it loud on the outside so you can piss off the guy next to you and you and your little tike friends will just have a little giggle orgy.

What's the box tuned to?

Fi Q's are rated at 1,000 rms just so you know. If you want to run a full 2200 watts then go ahead and buy another Q. 2200 watts is way over that rating. Don't be mad when your sub blows for thermal/mechanical failure. If you want to stick with your best bang for your buck grab an AQ1200d. Puts out rated at a low price.

No clipping and the box is 1.05 cubes sealed with the sub im not an idiot, with the high qts option, and it took me a lil while to find the email for them. Told them exactly what i said here. And it sounded fine with no problems then it stopped working. I'll pull the sub out tomorrow and inspect it. I love how i ask a simple ? and almost everyone has to be a dick. They're just trying to help you solve your problem the easiest way. You asked the question, you got answers.

Do The Big 3. If you still have problems, then add a battery. If you still have problems, then i would suggest a H/O Alt. But you probably won't need anything after a battery only on 1000 watts.

BL's are for people that want to get loud and want to keep sound quality while doing it. Q's are for people who want SQ but want to get loud while doing it. Make sense? You really can't argue with the price either. It's personal preference really. For an amp, If your not looking to spend much then pick up an AudioQue 2200D for 389$. Good amps for the price. hope this helps.

Correct me if I am wrong but SPL setups tend to be tuned high to acheive higher tones for bigger numbers which won't flex as much. I believe tuning will determine how much flex you actually get. You can have a 160db setup but have little to no flex but you can have an average daily setup that will tear your car apart. Like Duran said, it is all in the install.

As for your electrical, I'd do the "Big 3" whether your lights dim or not. It just helps your car. Do it in 1/0. Now if your lights are still dimming, add a decent battery to the front of your car. For example, A XS power battery, a kinetik, or deka intimidator. Now if your still having trouble then add another battery to your trunk and make sure the voltage on the back battery rests the same as your front battery or else it will die unless you get a solenoid. Now, if you are still having trouble which i will highly doubt on 1200watts then you need to call DC Power and pick up a High Output Alternator.

The people you see doing 150db with one sa-12 have a strict SPL setup. They run a lot of power for a burp. You are not going to get it out of a daily setup. Only a strict SPL application. Don't get me wrong, an sa-15/12 will get loud but, you have to set it up right to get that loud.

Just ordered my Saz-1500d v.2 a few hours ago it is going to be a long wait until late December . Well worth it from what other people say. First Sundown product. Putting it on an XCON 15". Stoked.

Im either wanting to pre-order the saz-1500d v.2 in the next day or two for 400$. Or I was looking at the Saz-2000d in the B-stock Refurb section for 400$ and have a little headroom. Power is going to an XCON by the way. Any input is appreciated.

well yes i know its a weird question. BUT right now im bending towards used or new. that is my main issue. Saz-2000's were replaced and are not being produced anymore if i am right. Which means, later down the road which is way later when it comes time for upgrade and these are basically gone, what then?

This could be a stupid question but I'm just wondering. The XCON package with the Saz-1500d. The Saz-1500d is the v.1 right? I know the v.2s dont come out until late december but I'm wondering so i can buy the Saz separate or just buy the package. Thanks for the input.

We actually have done a few deals with the Stetsom 1k5. We could do a combo package on the shop if people are interested. Hmm.. I don't really know much about stetsom as much as i do sundown. Do you have any input on them? In comparing the saz-1500 and the stetsom 1k5?

So Lowes is having a sale in my area and i noticed that 3/4 MDF 4x8 sheets are on sale for 32$ I was wondering, how many 4x8 sheets would i need to make a 4.0cf ported box After displacements. Any help is appreciated. Oh and theyre having a sale on 1/0 for 1.93$ a ft

From what i have heard, the HDC's aren't that great on SQ and i saw how you said you don't care much about the SQ but you tied it in with Fi. The HDC's produce more beat while sacrificing SQ. They are recommended 40-50 hz because thats less lows more highs for SPL if I'm not mistaken. Like you and others have been saying, grab a pair of the SSD's throw it in a 4.0 32-33hz Bp power with that aq2200d and i think you'll be happy.

To the aq2200 question They will but it depends if your electrical can keep up with that amp. Stay away from clipping, give it clean power, and if your worried about overpowering then reduce the box size a little. Just get the 2 12'' ssds with bp or/and flatwind
