  1. Meaning 3-4 weeks you start shipping them out? Or 3-4 weeks until you can start making them. Products should be in stock and will be shipping out. Thank you sir.

Help me pick out some tweeters

    My next build

Bad electrical will cause blown equipment if your not careful. Gain conservative. and if you have to, wire it at a higher ohm load until you have sufficient electrical.

If you want an saz-2500d then get it soon. It's on pre-order pricing for 525$ in the SSA store. Can't get better than that for that amp.

    2 Q series 12" Box design

I understand that but they only have boxes for a single sub. Im trying to make it for 2 12" Q's. not just one. I thought it would be as easy as doubling the numbers but its not so thats what im asking for the dimensions of the box cut outs for what i need to make. he didn't mean the cutout sheets. he meant the recommendations. Fi Q Recommendations Link Take your max dimensions of your trunk and I'm sure someone would be glad to design you a box ported or sealed. Also, tell what you want it tuned to as it will help the other person when designing a ported box. At least you understood what I meant Hzd. First of all there is no need to act like a condescending a$$hole. SORRY i dont know this stuff like you guys. Im just a housewife who is trying to get my brother in law to make this box for my husband who is returning from Iraq very soon and i want it ready for him. So sorry if im asking questions that might seem so dumb to you. Geez there is no need to belittle people who are trying to find help. Im sure u knew it all when u started out huh??? Ayway thanks HZD skizzy ill look there and get the dimensions of his trunk so we can see what we are working with Noone is intending to act like this at all. This is one bad thing about the internet; you can't really grasp the true mood of someone's typing. Some typing may sound cruel and harsh but really it isn't, it's just how they type. Sorry if you took anything the wrong way. But anyways, yeah download that link that says "Dual 12 Ported link" that should be a sufficient box for 2 q's. But make sure you measure your trunk first so it may fit. Plus, your trunk may be big, but the opening may be very small. So I would make a cardboard "mock-up" box to see if it goes in either through the rear seats or the trunk opening. Also, if you don't feel comfortable making a good enclosure by yourself or with your brother in law, give your dimensions to Argent Audio. He has his own section on the forum. You are assured a quality built enclosure. Prices may be hefty after shipping a heavy box but it will be worth it in the long-run. Hope this helped. Hope your husband returns safely.

Just get another bl 12 since you have one. the BLs will be louder due to the cone area on the 2 is more than 1 15.

    2 Q series 12" Box design

Are you talking about this? Dual 12 ported Link If not, then here is another option.^
  10. Actually yes that is wrong. It has been talked about numerous times here. Please read up on products before you bash on someones suggestion or suggest them yourself. Cool edit. I wasn't bashing his suggestion i was merely going by what the AP catalog said and and the catalog just so happened to be wrong. Keep your dumb ass comment to yourself.. You also made a comment about the power handling of the sub being higher than what was stated numerous times. I just think you should at least learn about the equipment that is being discussed before you throw your opinions into the mix so you will be able to provide a better insight as many new people on here know very little about the equipment. Any miss information could cause a lot of problems for the people starting the posts. Dude, I previously said "My bad, I was looking at the 15" specs." Sorry I make mistakes dude. Everyone does at one time or another. Get over it. The world moves on; okay? Chill out. Damn.

  14. You are right, it is wrong. Check other websites it does 3000 at 2 ohm. The ap 3000 is 2 1500's linked together in 1 case, like the other guy said. The Sundown 2500 would be a great choice, if u want to upgrade later you already have 2500w. And it should do more then 1200w at 2 ohms.(atleast in perfect conditions) And it has a subsonic filter and is quite efficient, so not a lot of strain on the electrical. I <3 false advertisement!
  15. My bad, I was looking at 15's specs.
  16. Subsonic Filter is a filter that you set 2-3 hz under your box tuning to keep the sub under control mechanically so it wont tear apart due to over excursion and bottoming out. I don't really know the specific technical terms of it, but you do need one if you plan to go ported.
  17. It would be enough to make noise yes. Plus, with the sundown you have a variable subsonic filter which the Kicker does not have, and if you decide to go ported that may be a problem because you will have to buy an extra subsonic if your box is tuned outside of the fixed filter on the Kicker. Honestly I don't know what the fixed filter is on the Kicker, but someone may know and chime in.
  18. AP 3k link So I guess the Audiopipe catalog for the AP3000d is wrong when it says :1 ohm stable 3000 @ 1 ohm 2000 @ 2 ohm 1000 @ 4 ohm Click on the pic to zoom and see for yourself.
  19. Don't listen to this guy. The hifonics puts out that 2kw at 1 ohm, same as the audioque. You need a amp that delivers 1500w at 2 ohms. The kicker is a great amp except for the subsonic. The audiopipe 3000 is too much you'll smoke the subs. Actually the Audiopipe 3k is rated at 2k at 2 ohms which would be fine because he has 2 d2 subs that are rated at 1000w a piece. @ OP: If your looking to spend 550$, the Saz-2500d is on pre-order pricing for 525$ in the SSA store. Better than paying 550$ for only 1500w. It does 1200w at 2 ohms so you may not have to worry about electrical upgrades beyond the big 3. By getting either the ap 3k or the saz-2500 you have the option of going to 1 ohm down the road if you want to upgrade subs. Just a thought.

    Question for a friends setup.

My friend has an 02 Mustang GT convertible. He wants to cram a BTL 15" inside. His rear seats do not fold down. The question is...If his seats were not folded down would that affect the bass significantly or only just a little bit. He was thinking of taking out the rear seats but that would expose the convertible motor and stuff. The first task is to see if a 4.0cuft box would even fit back there... Thanks for any help.

    Question for a friends setup.

I thought you said a 15" won't fit in the trunk? Did you leave the top part of the delete out and put the box in it's place? Tell me more about how it is setup please. The trunks are sealed off from the cabin, won't work anyway. We put the box where the rear seat should be, inside the cabin. OHH okay. So you think my friend should buy the delete and rest the box on it?

Hmm.. so this isn't looking good for him. I was thinking of a rear seat delete but i doubt it would help much. Rear Seat Delete Link

    Alt Request

Hello I have a 3.4l v6 Chevrolet Impala and I'm wondering if you carry and alternator for my car. I am going to be running a sundown saz-2500d and most likely 200 more watts for speakers. I would say roughly adding 2700 watts extra to my car. Now, if it happens that you do make an alternator for my car I'm wondering if you have a bracket so i can run it with my stock alternator. Let me know, thanks. -Jay
