So if i go with the 15" X is it a good sub that i can use everyday and can hit? Or should i just go for a ssd 18"? Every sub will hit and every sub will play everyday. I mean unless there's a sub that only plays on mondays. 15" 4.0 @ 32hz put about 300 watts on it, your good. With the little information you gave us of your goals, then noone can really get to specific.

If I could make a suggestion. I really like #1 but if you could have the the words in #5 in that font but in white under #1 that would be pretty cool.

Q is closer to sound quality than the SSD is. im still standing by the SSD. You can get the SSD and have some headroom on the amp. The only ways you can stop getting voltage drop is do the big 3, then a better battery, then a high output alternator. If it even needs to go that far. Get a dmm and check your voltage.

Came home from today to see a package on my doorstep and I immediately became excited. SSA had sent me my Bravox CS60K's! Haven't gotten the chance to put them in yet but I will do a full review when I have. Also, these shipped very fast, especially for free shipping. It was shipped out next day after I ordered. Which is awesome because I hate waiting. These look very well made to me. Had to jump on these because of the price on them. Couldn't beat it. Thank You everyone as SSA. I am very pleased so far.

I guess I'll just have to prove him wrong when I get them all set up Don't you love ill-informed people who love to bash something with no clue? Yeah, he said "bravox? Sounds like some crap you'd get at walmart for like 50$" He's getting sony speakers. I said the CS60k's were out of stock because on the store the thing says, "sorry this item is currently unavailible" So I thought you guys were out. Mark will have to check that when he gets back from Vegas tomorrow. But I believe we had about 7 pairs left the last time inventory was pulled and I believe we have sold less then 4 pairs since. Oh alright. and Mark+Vegas=uh oh. Forgot to add: This is kind of off topic but do you have any idea when you are going to be pulling in the saz-2500d pre-orders? I know it isn't really in your hands but was just curious is you heard any word on a ETA to you. The Sundown amps are scheduled to arrive next week I believe. Oh wow, that is great. I'm just pretty excited is all.

A BL will destroy that old setup if given a good custom ported box. Also, I really don't think it is a good idea to run the battery by itself. If you play your sytem a lot and plan to turn off your car I would have a friend with jumper cables close by at all times. Plus, you would in fact have more output if you hooked up to the alternator. A normal 12v battery will rest at 12.3-4v which means it will give the amp around 12v. With the alternator hooked up, it will provide more power and keep that battery charged and with the alternator you'll be running around 14v thus providing more output. Your old sub probably died because of clipping which is having you amp pull more than your car can give. With the bass boost up like that, it sure does help. Clipping will cut off the top and bottom on sound waves and distort and eventually kill the sub. Not trying to be mean but without having your alternator hooked up and the bass boost up like that, you are setting yourself up for disaster and a complete loss of money.

I'm sorry I may be misreading but let me try and get this straight. You do NOT want to hook up the battery to the alternator? You want to charge the battery then play a lot of music and come back home and charge it again? Or you want this insde of your house? Sorry if I misread something. @ Brandon: I didn't say kenwoods were bad. And yes, the easy route is to just pick 1 sub out of the line, but each sub is made differently for different purposes. But I'm saying SSD because it doesn't look like he wants the sound quality of the Q, The BL could be an option, BTL could also be an option but I still stand by the SSD. Best bang for his buck if he's only going to be running that kind of power.

If you get a 16v battery your going to need a very high powered alternator to keep feeding that battery. I would suggest you do not do that. Plus, I don't think the kenwood would take 16v very well. Alternator would need to be running at what, 17-18v to feed that batt? For us to suggest a sub, tell us your goals for your system. Like what do you want to acheive. For me, with that kind of power I would get an SSD 12 but that's just me. Oh and by the way, you probably burnt the coils on your other sub by clipping it to death with the bass boost at +18. Not a very smart setting to have, when you don't know what your doing.

thats not what I said. Sa-8s would just be louder due to cone area, but it all comes down to install. You will achieve "deeper bass" by the tuning of your enclosure. A tuning of 30-34 hz for example would be a good start. But the 8's and 10 will all hit the same notes. If you got a 6" subwoofer it would hit the same notes as a 21. Just the 21 would be louder because it's cone area is much larger.

You want deep bass... Like Duran and Stefan said, the 8 will play the same notes as the 18. The 18 will play those notes louder. Now, the 2 8s have more cone area than the 10 so they will be louder. "Deep Bass" will come into play with your install. The tuning of your box will come into play for deep bass. As a beginner i would suggest you tune your enclosure to 32hz. It will get the "deep bass" as well as the higher end.

The BL 10 is a great woofer. Just the thought of it being made by Fi is great haha. As long as it fits your needs and if you give it a good box to specs it'll be great. Also, for a good box you can find Argent Audio here on the forum who makes awesome enclosures. Just a thought. The difference between the 1200d v.1 and v.2 is what you said. They came out with a more recent "updated" version of the amp. I don't exactly know the specifics but it was probably made with better more powerful parts. If you can I would pick the v.2 over the v.1 just because of the fact that the v.2 is updated.

Db-r.com is a reputable website. A lot of the members buy from there. I'd get the 1200dv.2 Just more updated parts and you may not have to do as many electrical upgrades as you possibly would with the 1500d. You may just have to do the big 3 and a better battery.

I have the exact same feeling and experience as you. Env Touch was just a terrible phone. Don't like touchscreens at all. Got a brand new Blackberry Bold and it's pretty damn good. Battery life when it is off is absolutely terrible, but when it's on, it's on forever (weird). HTC makes some good touchscreen/physical keyboard combo phones i hear.

Droid X all the way. If they both fit your needs and if money is no objest then the droid x is better. It has a bigger screen and it being a touchscreen that's always better.
