John Janowitz really is the man. I hope things shape up nicely for him.

Allergies are bothering me tonight. Just sneezed 14 times in around a minute. Yes, I counted. That's how much I sneeze.

<<<< This guy... Not a Norton fan.

Hard to beat some good Clapton on the cans here.

Just so it doesn't seem totally random and crazy, my thought on the Ferris wheel popped up because there is a member who just posted under the name "farriswheel".

Life happens and he makes his choice every day. If he's happy, there's not much for me to say about it.

Sometimes looking backwards at our past is humourous. At the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago, the U.S. was presenting the Ferris Wheel by Michael Ferris as an attempt at a response to Paris' Eiffel Tower. Even more astonishing than how it fails in comparison is how the 1893 World's Fair was the first great display of electricity and is rarely discussed outside of historical accounts of the battle between Edison and Westinghouse.

I'm amazed my Dad has made it this long. He's mid 40's and can't sleep more than 30 minutes consecutively because he wakes up coughing. I'm trying to get him to quit smoking and go see a doctor, but he won't do either. He's going to be in a very tough position in the not-too-distant future, I think.

For the Corvette lovers that missed my post in the IHOP...

Isn't that like most Vette's for the last 40 years? -
The only hard alcohol drinks I like use gin. I like a good Tom Collins.

I'm at my dad's and don't want to go out. That's my excuse. You much of a gin man, Aaron?

No thanks is an understatement.

I can play the organ and they are an absolute joy. I do want to learn the Cello, though, so that might take the cake at some point.

Does this mean you're going to a different Icon setup? Maybe 4 12's?

That is one crazy looking BL curve... 40mm of x-max is massive, but that BL curve is crazy. One of my customers has two of those on an SAZ-1500D @ 2 ohms... he liked it. They are single 4 ohm only, I believe, and he didn't want to run two amps... but he is satisfied IMHO, that would make a good IB sub like npdang said. Higher Q, and LOTS of throw. Yes, it's a bit of a poor implementation of LMT in TC's early stages. You can easily see how much of an effect miswinding the coil can have on the BL curve. Absolutely great potential though. Not sure that I would say the SW8200's are better than the W7 (in fact, I would be adamant otherwise) but definitely great value at that pricepoint. On topic, like said above, two very different products.

well, it appears a search on the Camaro forum gave me an answer general consensus is stock spindles/lowering springs over dropped spindles/stock springs Are you sure? Everyone I know recommends changing spindles and shocks because when you change springs, you change spring ratio and lose some comfort.

My dog died tonight and it's proving to be tougher than I expected.

Interested in a MASS clone? Jacob is working on making one available.

Yeah, not very pleasant unfortunately.

Woot. Scholarship letter in the mail today.

It's missing everywhere, unfortunately. AA is a step in the right direction but it would be nice to get a home audio speaker presence here. No, just people in general. Drive too slow, brake at random, drive the wrong direction, etc. Quite maddening. dB'z on yo azzzz

I don't understand why people have such difficulty driving in a parkade.

I always get myself into trouble when I put on the headphones before going to sleep. Next thing I know it's 4AM and I have to be up for work in a couple of hours. Must be careful not do that tonight.

Sometimes I forget how much better lossless sounds than mp3....

I hate when you just lay in bed for hours trying to stop thinking and get some fugging sleep.
