I looked through cardomain's pictures they took hoping to spot it but I either missed it or they didn't get a shot of it.

I believe these are split-coil and the old ones are XBL^2 Ya don't say.... Maybe that explains why Woofersetc has XXX components on sale dirt cheap right now.

Peterson has some good power but very surprising breakaway speed. Great day for him.

Every now and then I forget how bad I am at woodworking and spend a night in the garage. Yeah, fun.

From what I have gathered, the branding will stay the same. Again, from what I have been told and heard, there are no plans of Ascendant Audio disappearing in any respect. The company is now strongly dealer oriented and I imagine that's why the site hasn't seen timely upgrades (although Scott has gone through two or three web developers to try and get something he's satisfied with). As far as who is doing what, that's Scott and Chad's business in my opinion, but I think people should be able to read between the lines.

Definitely happy birthday to a good guy.

I don't think Bob has decided on a pricepoint for the SDX7 yet. Like the Extremis, it's not perfect up top. It's a woven carbon fiber cone so there isn't that much damping. However, its rigidity is great for midbass and low bass performance; it is way more articulate than the Extremis. It's hard to gauge by ear when listening to music how far up it would be safe to crossover, but I'll have some measurements coming out shortly that should help narrow it down....see how much the copper phase plug does for response.

Perhaps tonight. Lotta things going on this week...I got all of 20 minutes to listen to them last night before I fell asleep.
-
I listened to the SDX7 for a bit yesterday and it is heads and tails a better driver than the Extremis from a subjective standpoint.

In-depth way of calculating the required length of a flared port
DevilDriver replied to DevilDriver's topic in Technical Info & How To's
That's because of the radiuses they use on all their flares. It's the same, so the length required is always an inch longer. This is for more of a DIY approach and just the general theory behind port flares. -
A little better, but I think they need to totally get rid of the girls. Oh well, much improved without that girl blabbering on.

Sonotube LLT, which is really just an EBS variant, which is really just a 4th order reflex, which is really just a ported enclosure. I started by saying LLT and then caught myself.

I'm having a real hard time with good classical music, unfortunately. But the addition of the user uploaded torrents might be what takes stmusic over the top; without it, I was totally unattracted. Yeah, that would be very awesome. A few 1TB drives for music/movie storage and maybe a raptor or something similar for the OS and programs would make me a happy camper.

Same thing I said. Love the way you call me big poppa. you win..... you always do It's why I come up here.

Seems like we're kind of plateauing, unfortunately. Any thoughts on continuing a forward surge? We've been fortunate to do so well over at AudioJunkies. In 3 months, we've gone from 700,000+ to our current 1 week average of 55,XXX. Our traffic has been growing every day for quite a while now....we just need to keep the articles coming and that's the challenging part for me with such limited time spread in so many different areas.

I got a pair of the upcoming CSS SDX7's in the mail today and they are unfuckingbelievably beautiful. Definitely the best looking XBL^2 driver I have ever seen, considering that camp usually has pretty laid back, plain looking drivers.

Are you using any extensions in FireFox? If so, can you list them?

With that budget, I'm thinking Peerless HDS (810921), Vifa XT25, Seas 29TFFW or Seas 27TBFCG.

From a guy who has below average tires on his truck right now, let me say upgrading your tire is a good way to go.
