I'm not sure that Pete understands the nature of how a human hears loudness so I don't really believe he has his own spreadsheets that are capable of simulating dynamic in-vehicle response. Now MJK is a different story. His MathCAD sheets are amongst the best you will get for TL's or horns.

Not to nitpick, but they aren't Sub-Sonic Filters as that would imply they are slower than the speed of sound. They are Infra-Sonic Filters. Set it at 32-38 Hz and you should be fine.

As a wild guess, I don't think AA will be sold at dealers with a 300% markup or anything close to that. I think the dealer network is a good move for Scott and if you're dealer phobic, you can go with Fi. If it's AA you want, find a dealer and go get a good product.

Fi offers two options with their subs: 1. Universal: the tolerances in the gap are designed so that the sub can be reconed with either the D1 or D2 coils. 2. Non-Universal: the tolerances in the gap are designed specifically for a D1 or a D2 coil. To the OP, there will be very, very small differences between the two. Not something to really worry about, in my opinion.

I was waiting for this from you. People like to poo poo on it. But I have played against some of the best in the world. Heck, this past weekend got to play with a few nationals players. And from an insider, it is much harder and faster then people understand. People dislike things they don't understand. Most people I know who don't like ultimate frisbee have never played it or were miserable at it the one time they tried. A full game of ultimate frisbee is a good, fun workout. The same can be said for almost any sport. The anti-soccer concept in North America still baffles me.
