How big can you go? For HT, something like 3.5-4 cubes tuned to 15 Hz would be a lot of fun.

Oh, and a lot of the famous 6.5" drivers are actually 7" (Poly, Extremis, etc.)

I will drive in to see you Sean and bring as much as I can. I'm sure we can twist Scott's arm to come to. And we'll need beer.
-
Ouch, he's got three already. Yeah, it hurts.

I was out of town for the weekend and distracted. I have Chester Taylor and forgot that I wanted to start him in place of Lendale White. Other back is Joseph Addai and there's no way I'm sitting him.

Lendale White and Frank Gore. Barber is good for a TD but you can expect Gore and White to both pick up more yardage, particularly against the defenses they are facing.

Sean finger banged her right.

Who'd you see, Tom?

The majority of the research in the physical education/kinesiology division is primarily based on men. Women are unique from a physiology standpoint, and therefore, I want to investigate the physiological response to exercise in women. I will analyze the electrical signals between muscle and the brain during bouts of physical exertion in both males and females ... hoping to find that the signal is affected by fatique moreso in males than in females - this will help explain why females tend to have greater endurance. This latest study will compare the characteristics of the electrical signals between the brain and muscles during exercise in females and males. Billaut wants to verify the hypothesis that this signal is more affected by fatigue in males than in females. That sounds both intriguing and like a good opportunity. Any research in any field is valuable in my eyes, and this sounds very cool to me.

Lot of good beer tonight and now I'm tired. Need to be up early tomorrow morning, too. Worth it, though. 1guylotofbottles.com

Few and far between, for sure. At the risk of sounding pretentious, there are some indie artists that still have it, but not many.

When I throw on the vinyl and Love, Reign O'er Me hits, it is bliss.

The storyline in Tommy was a bit stronger and easily linked, but I find the music a better in Quadrophenia. Mods vs. Rockers.
-
Quadrophenia was better than Tommy, in my opinion. If you're the downloading type, look for LSO playing Tommy....very nice.

A bit of what I posted on AudioJunkies: Oxygen Free Copper First, the myth about "OFC" wires: many companies have grown quite proud of their superior Oxygen Free Copper wires. But does that really hold value? And what does it really mean? There are three primary compositions of copper wire that are used for electrical transfer. They are: 1. C10100 - This is 99.99% pure copper with less than 0.001% oxygen and is the most expensive of the three. It's sometimes referred to as OFE (Oxygen Free Electronic). 2. C10200 - Made of 99.95% pure copper and has at least 0.001% oxygen. This is sometimes called OF (Oxygen Free). 3. C11000 - This is called ETP. If I remember correctly, that stands for Electrolytic Tough Pitch and is by far the most common form of copper. This is at least 99.90% pure copper with somewhere between 0.01% to 0.05% oxygen. Now, as far as how they compare to each other, you can clearly see by their ratings that there is almost no difference from copper that is considered oxygen free, and copper that isn't. Based on conductivity requirements for each grade of copper, ETP and OF are identical! They both require at least 100% IACS (International Annealed Copper Standard) conductivity. The practical difference from ETP to OFE is less than 1% IACS conductivity. The primary reason that OFC was developed in the first place was for industrial use where copper under high-duress had a tendency to get brittle over longer periods of time. There is virtually no value in OFC for your vehicle or home. Strand Count/Skin Effect The second big myth is about the value of strand count. I can

Just got a pool table at the house here. We've got a Wii and a NES hooked up in the living room, and then air hockey, ping pong, and pool setup in the main area. Good times.

It seems to me that a state like Arizona would be understanding of flip-flops.

Really frustrating day, all day. And just before bedtime, a little sun through the clouds.

You can make an awful lot of money welding up here.

Just a fundamental disagreement then, I suppose. Not saying that there isn't value in having knowledge in a variety of fields, just disagree on what is and isn't required to be a good engineer.
-
I think it is an advantage, for sure, but I don't see how something like an inability to, say, build a balsa wood tower would prevent me from being able to design various electronic circuits. I know which of the two is more valuable as an EE.
-
I dunno, I guess I can just see the difference between engineering and technician. At least locally, it is well acknowledged that engineers aren't required to be able to build everything or even that much, but those who are doing real field work need to. I'm not good with woodwork because I don't do it much, but I'm not sure that makes me a bad EE.
