Jesus, I need to spell check before posting rather than editing it afterwards.

Here too. Have had to plug in the truck the past few days overnight. It's not like it helps the piece of shit GM product. Tell me about it.

I remember from when you were posting pictures. The end of the sentence is great. I know it sounds so awful but if you saw the part selection and build quality on it, you'd think the same thing. I wanted to listen to it and do a review but a) I didn't have the time, b ) I wasn't impressed, c) I don't think a review would have even mattered...the people who like RD Audio will like them no matter how much evidence there is to the contrary, and the people who dislike them (like me) will always be considered "haters", whatever the hell that means.
-
Even in the internet world where part selection is almost identical from one sub to another and build quality is often pretty average, RD Audio falls well beneath the water mark. The Classic I bought was a disappointment in virtually every respect....just wish I had listened to it before selling.

Who is this Deephaven character? I like the way they think.

Thanks Neil, I will be interested! edited by Sean

? http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_subs_pages.php?page_id=42 Dynamic Motor Analysis is a real thing. Not only do they FEA their drivers and simulate BL(x), Cms(x), and Le(x) curves, but they also have a Klippel on hand that can physically measure (more or less) the same thing. Much more than just your static small signal thiele/small parameter analysis (Dynamic vs. Static). Honestly, if it's from JL Audio, you can almost always bet real, viable, and impressive engineering is behind it. A lot of manufacturers do that however. Very true, although not always in house. It's amazing how many companies use FEA....even on at, say, Boeing, FEA is used very extensively in the design of the entire airplane.

Agnostic doesn't have to be a cop-out, though. I spend a lot of time studying theism and atheism alike, although my end result is always agnosticism.

David is still there, though.

I need Pittsburgh D to keep this up. edit: A pick or five would be nice, too.

Relatively standard overhung. I wasn't expecting the move to XBL^2...that's pretty cool, but they'll have some challenges from the budget XBL^2 guys (Exodus, CSS, GR Research). I wonder which offshore buildhouse they're being built in. Perhaps in Taipei?

But I thought the new XXX used a split coil motor while the LMS used that fancy patent pending LMT thing? I honestly don't care either way Neil, just wanted to make sure I'm not going crosseyed (which is completely possible) or something Read on...apparently my humour is too dry for many to pick up....others missed that, too. Totally and completely different.

Zune cutomer support...not so great.

A little more info on the new Mags
DevilDriver replied to Electrodynamic's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Wow. New era for the Mag. Should be very interesting, to say the least. -
The emo thing? Yeah, because people are idiots and don't even get it.

interesting read. i have to agree with you on the evasive answers. either they hide something or have absolutely no clue about it. just like an expert "installer" over here refused to explain what use an rta has. I was being way too rant-tastic.

RD Audio: as good as ever.

I fall asleep but I wake up feeling exhausted. The difference between falling asleep and a drug induced sleep are quite palpable for me.
-
Depends on the condition. The MSRP on those is around $400 if I remember correctly and I've seen a number of them on Audiogon for $200 or less.

It would help me Are you okay, they don't normally morph people here for trivial things. You have me concerned. I have a really, really bad back and I happened to hurt it on Tuesday night. I don't like it as much as something else that starts with an M, though. Morphine leaves me feeling like crap, hungover, exhausted, nauseous, etc.
-
I feel like garbage this morning. A little morphine right when I wake up doesn't help, though, but it might get me through today.

I hate shitting when I'm doped up on meds.

Definitely seems like a good idea to me.
