and what does building a box have to do with asking about which equipment i never said i dont know how any moron could slap a box together but when your already investing over 2k in something i would prefer to have it done by a professional with more experience in building the box so if i wanna pay someone another 300$ to build me a nice box how is that any of your concern i asked for suggestions not smartass remarks if thats the best you can do then move along and dont post at all

well i went ahead and ordered 4 sa 10's from jacob friday night anyone know who i should contact about a decent box?

Well my goal is pretty much just loud to the ear. Space isn't that much of a concern. I have 4 10's kickers in there now. Had 1 1500 on them, Ordered a 2nd for when i upgraded speakers. So i thought i would throw it in,With the gains all the way down and see if they could handle it needless to say within 5/10 mins they pretty much was toast was some older ones like 200watts each lol i was gonna replace them with sa's but i kept hearing how good the ns was so was wondering if it would be worth it after talking to jacob about trading in amps i could only afford 2 ns's where as i could still get all 4 sa's i dont compete or anything like that i just enjoy loud bass dont think the sa's could handle the 3500's so that was not even a option electrical should be sufficient have 1 mechman alt in factory location and had ac removed with plans to add another if needed but with the 2 1500 and 200.4 never even droped under 14.4 which i dont play it for very long 30 45 mins tops in 1 go its more of a toy car have 7 batterys in rear only using 4 atm so plenty of room for bigger amps imo was thinkin maybe 4 sa's on 2 2500's they might handle that

i have a 98 eclipse and i am tring to decide if i should run 4 sa-10's on 2 1500d's or 2 ns 10's on 2 3500d's wondering which would be louder to the ear what do you guys think and i know you wont know untill its put in and tried just wondering about basic assumptions and what kind of opinions i might get

UPDATE it was the phase knob have no idea what it even does but turned it and the power started flowing like mad about blew my subs outa the box so anyway what is that phase knob even for?
-
i cant check untill tommorrow car is at work right now was just looking for suggestions before i went back to work in the morning guess i try switching the wires around and see
-
Okay guess i worded that incorrectly not ACTUAL hot and ground but the speaker + and - i had 100foot of 8gauge power wire so i just used it as the speaker wire and wasnt 100pct sure i got the + and - FROM THE SPEAKERS not the actual power and ground wires
-
yeah there strapped correctly dmm reads like 1.2 ohm running duel 8gauge ground connects and 8 gauge to subs could the hot and ground from subs being on wrong amps do it?running all red wires after thinkin about it i might have switched the hot and ground around coming outa the box

Okay i have been running a 1500d on 4 10" kickers while i wait for my sa-10's . I had another 1500d in closet, so i decided to go ahead and throw it in,and get it strapped, and ready for the sa's . Heres the deal i had the gain set all the way down so as to not destroy the kickers. Added the second 1500d, and now i can set gain to almost 3/4 and its still not as load as with just 1 amp the single was running 1ohm and the 2 was at 1ohm strapped so .5 each. voltage doesnt drop thats not a issue i just cant figure out why its louder with only 1 amp running if 1 was bad it wouldnt work at all strapped? or could that be a problem?
