Oh son of a biznitch. I can afford those but don't need them at all...
-
Damn people...let him reply...we've said the same thing like 6 times now.
-
Oh geez... If you don't understand how impedance (ohm load) works then its real easy to screw something up. What are you buying and what amp are you using?
-
Q is aimed at Quality. BL is aimed at...tearing shit up. The reason he says that is that Q's are designed for low tuned (2Xhz) flat response enclosures compared to the peaky(er) 32-37hz tuned enclosures that most BL's will be installed in. There's no reason you can't tune a BL low and rip shit up, but you'll lose output in the...say 45hz+ range, for example. Those are estimates but you get the idea. EDIT: But to answer your original question, with the efficiency of the BL it should have no problem making you smile on that power. There's never really a reason to have more power going to a sub than it can safely handle.
-
Wait so you want us to help you find a sub that will sound excellent, handle 2k+ watts, and cost less than $200? And you want us to guess what kind of music you listen to and how much space you have available? Shit....
-
As a college student...that shit is not free lol. That is all.

I bet you can barely hear it over that LS1

Oh shit...got the itch...

Why are you selling? Just out of curiosity. Bought my wife a new car and I wil be driving my 4runner everyday and If I let the truck sit it will go bad real fast. I would rather make somebody a good deal and let them enjoy it as much as I have. Maybe time for a weekend toy?

$300 systems sound like $300 systems. You're not going to find anything good for that much. If you do, it would be a single sub that wasn't very loud. Maybe a couple of tens or something...

that would not be that stupid ... lexus > ford in my book If you think a Lexus shop can rebuild a Ford engine better than a Ford shop can...then yeah, good luck with that. His point was that the people who designed and builds the woofers on a regular basis will probably have a better grip on what parts it needs and what would make it perform the best. That's why you would want Fi to do it. They know more about the BL than anybody else.

I'm thinking about doing the same thing. Anyone that can help him I would appreciate it as well.

I don't think you'll get many replies. Helpful replies...that is.

PM me the impedance and price of the SA-12's. I may be interested.
-
Wow man that looks fun as hell. It's awesome that you can feed both the SQ fanatic and Basshead side with the same setup.

SSA Sub(s) having issue on lower notes, poor kay?

This kinda sounds like a box issue. Like he can hear notes below tuning at low volume but once he turns it up and the subs start to unload then the frequency response isn't as balanced.
