Walled Soundstream Mustang and Digital Designs Celica with wedge box
JustinW replied to reelfish92's topic in Videos
my 2 14" Rs on xx colossus in my 02 celica got a ton more flex than that... but could never haittrick.. subs up port back. celica's are a weird ride.. like a big brother crx but very particular on certain setups. -
reminds me of the old model fi x motor..
-
I have four orion xtr 12s i'll sell ya.. oldschool stuff lol.. icons would be insane.
-
I get no attentions.. lol
-
What are these worth anymore gentlemen? These are mine that came with the truck I bought.. the model99 zed amps above have already been sold... trying to sell the subs now.
-
blah!
-
sigh.. tomorrow.
-
didn't have a bit to get the screws out, forgot to pick one up today and there is no way im doing it by hand lol... i'll try tomorrow.
-
i've always known him to use eminence, selenium etc... he may have moved away from it now though. He's front stages have always been insane though. where I got the inspiration for my old astro, had 24 15" level 2 dc 15s in it and 48 selenium ST350 supertweeters. Ran out of money doing the mids.. and room lol.. literally had nowhere else to put them.
-
once it stops raining, they had been hooked up til just saturday and I wasn't home all yesterday. i'll put one out a little later on today when weather permits.
-
Well since you got them with your truck any dollar amount you sell them for is profit Thoses are the last XTR series before the DEI buyout i'd wouldn't sell them for no less than $50 each in very good shape but thats just me. If I had the cash i'd buy them to run on my orion 275rhcca I had wondered what series they were as I seen some that said series 2 etc on them and these I didn't know anything about, I know they pound for such an older sub I was very surprised. True it would be profit but that's how im trying to do it with my system now is whatever I can make selling the gear out of it that's in it is all I want to spend back into it so I won't be out any pocket except mids/highs as it came with just stock speakers on that account. I appreciate the help :-D glad someone knows oldschool stuff on here .. lol I had asked about them on caraudio a while back when I first got the truck and people were just like, they're old. That's all. lol

hey jacob, sent you a msg about the sax-1200d on caraudio.com, I want it pretty badly lol upon your reply to the pm. -
not to be off subject from the awesome window destroyers.. but what songs on those vids? Also back on the main topic: what size/what power( were they getting ) were those wardens?
-
If I didn't know any better i'd say you have some cone area in there, probably some power too... lol. Wish I could fit 2 wardens, I really need to get home and see just how high I can make my box.
-
come do my alt bracket for my trailblazer lol.

comps ... will be a while as far as I know. Old 40.1 there has been one on sale on caraudio.com for like 650 shipped for a while now if it's still there. Guys name was like skizfrit or something similar.
-
wondered what port area is normally used by the people with wardens, wanting to do some 8" aeros or 10" aeros but wanted an idea of the port area they like.. any pointers on this? Also would 10-11 cubes per work on the 21? 11 cubes before displacement of ports, but sub displacement is already factored in.

I had planned on emailing nick as was suggested but just wanted to know where you found this info? that'd it be pretty much the same I mean. Appreciate the info either way I talked to him when I bought my 21" Wardens and he told me the enclosure recommendations were the same. I use 7.5 feet net and 125 square inches of port per sub, and I like the way it sounds. Meters within .6db from 32hz to 45 hz. What amp are you using? honestly looking at a single ap1500d until the new 40.1 comes out then i'll be using one of those. I would have no hesitations using a 10ft box + large port area with that 1500, though you may or may not need to change things when you switch amps to one with around 3k watts more power. I think i'm going to try a solid 8.5 cubes total after all displacements and see how that works out. Be a middleman on the box sizes. What as your box tuned to? I'd be doing it for pure daily listening and demoing only.

your juicebox video inspired me for a full IA setup ( minus door speakers ) least until they get their comp set done/out. they're making comps?? are there any projections yet pretty sure they were. No Clue on any release date or other info on it.

***Pasmag review of Incriminator IA6.4 amplifier***
JustinW replied to ia2's topic in Incriminator Audio
I bought mine from vertexaudio and just actually picked it up ( got back from doing so just then ). Thing is tiny in person but heavy as a mofo. I absolutely love it. Still need a 20.1 and some IA subs though -
1999 mercedes benz kompressor c230 I plans are to stay full IA apart from components/coaxials via CDT. But I don't consider this a car really "usable" for spl so i'm at a loss as to what I should go for now, original plans were 6 10" 187 in a s10 extended cab on a new 20.1 but... didn't go that route and this is what I ended up with for 3000 dollars. Hey, it's a benz I still would like to do the 20.1 down the road but i'm at a total loss as to what subs to try now as room/trunk would be an issue, never had a trunk car so i'm unsure how those setups work exactly. Anyone have any suggestions as to what size/sub to try ( sticking with IA ) to give me the bass i'd like but without so much SPL damage to the car from flex/vibrations as i'd like for it to stay in decent shape while I own it. Deadener will be fully covering most all the inside of the car in multiple layers if this affects it at all ( multiple layers ). Just dunno what to do now, sq setup? :uhoh: pic or two of the ride as I feel like a kid getting an "expensive" car for around these parts at least: and yes it has no hood ornament But I am pretty sure I found one on ebay for it. We'll see lol.

just get the ssd, with or without options i'm sure it'll handle the 1000rms no problem.
