You had a lot of chances to check the woofers with the dmm: -When you first received them -When you hooked them up for the first time to check final ohm load -When you uninstalled them -When you sold them before you shipped them out Sundown made the mistake and would of fixed it if you would've caught it earlier, way to late now. Sell them separately and cut your losses.

Quality of install is way more important than equipment

Can a 10" physically fit? I would stay away from an 8, also the two boxes will be about the same size. Find a 10, that likes small enclosures. The ICON comes to mind, .5 cubic feet sealed
