Small update: I wasn't able to get in any term lab runs this weekend, too busy Waiting for more info on the Sundown Neo-Pro's so I can start upgrading my front stage

If they are like other 15's, 7-9 cubic feet. I have 15 cubes for my two 18" Xcons. 20 cubes is on the large side for two 18s but he knows what he is doing.

I wish they could stack on top of each other and you could make one big port down the middle. But if they are like my xcons the cut-out diameter is 16.75" and the outside diameter is 18.5". Which is a little to big of course. I will do more playing around with the numbers.

What are the dimensions of that baffle and what kind of subwoofers? The BTL N2's? nm I just saw you posted the dimensions

Shorten the port. That is the opposite problem everyone else has, although once you compute the area you actually need that will take care of it as well. Drivers, power, box size are all required to calculate port size. Then just pick a size that keeps the air velocity reasonable. Everyone misunderstood my question.... im limited on the width and heigth of my port. Using the maximum dimensions my port would have to be 1 inch deep to have reasonable tuning but that makes my sq in of port close to nothing..... But when I get my sq in of port correct the tuning is in the teens. square inches only applies to the width x height. Not the depth or this would be cubed inches. A general rule is 12-16 inches per cubic foot. My port is 6"h x 40"w = 240".

Why does the box have to be bandpass? I would just do a ported box with the just the port shooting into your cabin.

Thats definitely not enough port area. I have two 18" Xcons and 240" of port area. That port will not meet up to your expectations. Is there another way you can align the subs so you can get more port? What are the dimensions of the baffle?

Thanks. Yes it is tall, but I can see out the back. No wall for this vehicle, the nice thing about this setup is it can be taken in and out. No major modifications done. It sounds great to me. Its tuned at 32-33hz. Term Lab run this weekend. I'll post some numbers up after. Liking the blowthrough btw

My bad, I think you have told me that before. I would try and get a Sundown amplifier. Hey if you get a 2500, 3000, or 3500 that would be ideal. I got my 3500 for $750 used. You can always turn down the gain.

All that you have listed are nice amps. I run a Sundown 3500 and could not be more happy with it. Ask TeamRamRod on the here how is Stetsom amp is working. You could try the AQ route also. $389 for the 2200 or $749 for the 3500. I do not know if they would ship to you? Whatever you do let us know. Looking forward to an update.

I believe you have 6"x8"s. In that case you can buy 6"-6.5" to fit in that spot.

What type of power are you running/want to run? Are you looking to have a sealed or ported box?

Just installed that headunit in my vehicle about a month ago. I like it a alot. It is easy to use. The only thing I wish it had was a rear ipod hookup.

Double din does fit in your vehicle. Don't be concerned to much with the 4v outputs, as the input gain on amplifiers can be adjusted to the level on your headunit. Pioneer makes plenty of options in your single din budget. You may have to go to $450-$500 for the double din size.
