This sums it up for those that don't know

Sounds good to me. If money allows it, get the Sundown over the AQ.

Need help looking for head unit with gps
S.DeYoung replied to xxaderxx's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I would assume double din. Any of pioneers navigation units. They are not as easy to use as a garmin or tom tom portable device though. -
Congratulations

I bought a subwoofer from Shogen recently. Everything went great. Communication, shipping, and packaging were A+.

from RE?

I will have one soon when my new build log is uploaded.

Nope. Because that opens up a huuuuuuge can of worms. What you propose means that if I don't like what someone is saying, I can -1 them, and get a bunch of other people to -1 them until they're gone. That's gay. As long as they stay within the rules they should be able to stay, regardless of whether or not you like the things they say. "Arrrg that guy edouble is a douche, -1 every thing he posts" and then a few weeks and you're gone. Sound like a good idea? ^^^ This. Now if they don't follow the rules consistently, ban them.

On a lighter subject, loving the sodastream.

If its the one I am thinking of I believe it was made by TC Sounds. I have owned one at one time and wasn't to impressed. Eclipse recommended small sealed and small ported with ported being recommended. If I recall correctly they were like this: 0.4 - 0.6 ft^3 sealed 1.0 - 1.25 ft^3 tuned to 32-35hz

Go to the for sale section. Shizzzon has used AQ3500s for sale for $520. -

They don't do rated power. Save your money for a bit and buy a better brand. Hell a brand new AQ3500 is $750. -
You will be losing cone area but gaining motor force if you went with one 12" Fi BL. The subwoofers you have are nice. I wouldn't change them if power isn't changing. Are you not happy with them?

Maybe used, definitely not new. Check the for sale section. -
Well if they are tuned to the same frequency and the box being the same size (2cuft & 32hz) they will both play low. Four 8's would have more cone area and they would also have the wow factor. To me it seems like a small upgrade if you pick the 8's. But for the price?

Definitely not a good idea. What about going with just two Q's instead of three? See how you like that setup and if you are happy you can sell the other. If you want more output buy a fourth. Or if you want to stick with three you will have to buy a bigger amplifier. -

Just run the three on the amplifier you have now. Those subwoofers will do great with 500w each. -
The goal being?

Yeah, Nick will let you know when theres an update.

First of all, can you fit 24 cubic feet in your vehicle?
