If its for under the hood, pick what fits in your car. What is the stock size? If its for the back I would use the d3100. By the way a dual 1 ohm sub can not be wired to one ohm.

How much voltage drop did you have and what electrical? Stock 180 amp alternator with two d3100s. No voltage drop at all but I never listened to it for extended periods of time at full tilt ~15 minutes. I just did two runs right away when I installed it. You could try one and just monitor your voltage. Then add another if needed.

When I had my 3500, I had two runs of 1/0 gauge running to it.

I use t-nuts and machine screws.

It sounds like the actual trunk is rattling. CLD tiles from SDS should help this, especially if you can get into some off the hollow parts and stick some on the outer skin.

You would think, but you never know. Try hooking it up and see what happens. I have owned a few and have always used the remote turn on wire. They have always worked great for me.
