When you say "fully treated" do you mean you only did 25% coverage like it says? Or did you cover the whole door? By fully treated I mean I followed Dons techniques for sound deadening. This includes 25% coverage with the cld tiles and lining the door with mlv and ccf.

Plus Don is the most helpful guy with his products. He answered all my questions very fast.

SSA Enclosure Recommendations
S.DeYoung replied to Mark LaFountain's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
The Xcon recommendations are a good spot to start with the Zcons except no for sealed enclosures. What type of power are you running brownm3? and what size and how many zcons? -
What are your goals for this? What do you not like now?
-
Since the xmax is 19mm, with 35hz tuning, I would recommend at least an 8" port which is 50.25 square inches of port. Slot port will be much easier to achieve what you want.
-
What is the xmax of the SA's? 19mm? I would stick with close to recommended power also. No need to run twice the rated power. SAZ1500 would work well. If you want to save some money buy my BNIB AQ1200 in the for sale section.

Why are you stuck on using Fi?
-
I do not think he is taking orders currently.
-
Always try to run one amp that way its easier to tune. Not if he straps them. Are they strapped? What ohm load are you running?
-
You were a great help going to make copies of this receipt and put it in the boxes .. Thanks a lot .. No problem. What are you getting reconed? Two 18inch BTL's that somehow caught on fire... Do you know how that couldve happened ?? What amp/s are you using? What is your electrical like?

I haven't order anything from Fi in awhile but I would think that transaction number is your order number.

Yes check your email that you provided. Check the spam folder just in case.

"Labor Day", i'll be out of the office for a few days

Congrats Mark! -
I might sound dumb but what info exactly are they going to need ?? What info is that ?? Okay lets get all the information. To me it sounds like you purchased recones and you want them to recone them? If this is the case you should have typed in all your information and paid for them. Then they gave you an order number. When you send the subwoofers in just write the order number on each box. If you feel necessary write all your information down and place it inside the box/es.
-
As long as you provide them with your order information.

I would get a new component set for the front and stick the tweeters in that spot. I have done this on a few jeeps and the results were good.

Four inches of clearance is tight and two is even worse. I'd say stick with what you have now if you don't want to risk a lower score but there is only one way to find out which of the two is louder for you. As you know those cars are hard to get loud. 148 is awesome!
