Yes I have the subs already.They are in a small box in my backseat right now and sound like poo lol.If I could get like 3cubes per side after displacement i think that would be great for these subs.I dont have to have the port and subs facing the same way either.If you could just figure out a way to get a enclusre done around the deminsions that would be awseome.Also,I could go like 5-10 inches more in depth if that helps. My first measurement in depth I gave you was so small becasue I was trying to acount for sub throw and I have atleast 5 inches I could add if you would like have the subs facing up or something.Just let me know.I could pay you my next check which is the 21st of this month if we can get something hammered out.

Ok here are the deminsions of my trunk.I can go about 17"s tall,37"s wide,and about 36" front to back.The 36"s wide is at the back of the trunk between the fenderwells.its wider upfront where its about 56".Let me know if this helps.

Hey all.Im wanting to get some new subs and im wondering which way to go.I know this has been asked thousands of time but im wondering should I get a Pair of 12" Xcons or a single 15" Zcon?I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant and the subs would go in my trunk.Im kinda wanting to go with the single 15" Zcon but I want to be as loud as I can get.The zcon would save me some cash but would it be as loud as the xcons?I have a planet audio bb2 2400watt RMS amp right now and I plan on getting a second and strapping them in the very near future.So with this in mind what would you guys recommend?Oh and how many cubic feet should a box for a single 15" zcon be?I seen what the xcon recomends but not the zcon.Thanks guys.

I would have to have some one else build the enclosure as I do not have the tools. I will get the dimensions of my trunk tomorrow and let u know.

I knew I forgot to post some important info lol.My goal is to be loud on music and I do plan on entering audio comps.If it sounds good that would just be icing on the cake.I listen to alot of rap and hip hop.Mainly music with alot of bass.I have a 220amp power bastards alternator for my car and im running a second battery in the back.Its just a cheap walmart battery.I do plan on getting xs power or kinetik batts to replace the walmart battery.I also have the big 3 done in 1/0 guage wire.Hope this helps and sorry I forgot to post it in the first post.

Hey all. The time has finally come for me to enter my first comp tomorrow. I will be in a 2001 galant and my setup will be 2 American Bass XD 12's, a planet audio BB2 2400 rms 3000 max sub amp and (don't laugh) a dual 4 channel amp for my mids which are brand X. I know this setup is really crappy to most of you but I have worked hard to get it this way and it doesn't sound half bad. I don't really care how I do or anything I just really don't want to embarrass myself when I show up. I will take pics if I can and let you guys know how it went. Can't wait!!!! W00T

Hey all.Im going to be buying a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant and im needing to get a HO alt.Ive been searching the internet for over an hour now and all I found was a 180amp alt,but im wanting a bit more output than that.So I was wondering if someone could tell me where I could get a 200+ amp HO alt for the car.The engine is a 2.4L 4 cylinder.Thanks

Hey all.Im going to be getting my taxes back in a month and im going to get myself a new car.I want either a 1990-2000 model chevy blazer or a mitsubishi 3000gt.Ive wanted a 3000gt since i was about 13 (Im 20 now) and this may be the only chance I have to get one.I know I can get loud in a blazer but could I get as loud in a 3000gt?Like if I put a FI BTL 18 n2 in the blazer with a aq2200 for an amp and has the same thing in the 3000gt,which would be louder?Thanks. Hey all.Im looking to do some battery upgrading.I want to replace my stock battery upfront and replace the cheap walmart deep cycle in the back.Here is my main concern.I have a old 1977 Oldsmobile Delta 88 and sometimes its takes a bit of cranking to get it started.So,im worried about running the battery low by cranking my car to start and then it not starting because the battery is to weak.In the summer or warmer weather it starts just fine.Im mainly worried about in the winter time when it takes me awhile to get it started.I dont have alot of room upfront but i have alot of room in the back.So I guess what it boils down to is which battery should I get for upfront?I don't want to have a dead battery in the winter from trying to start my car.I was thinking of a XS D6500 for the back and a XS D925 for upfront.I have an AQ2200 for my amp.So do you guys think those batteies would work ok?

Hey all.I have a question about wiring subs.I have 2 dual 4 ohm subs.Now I know to wire to 1 ohm i would connect + to + and - to - on each sub then run a wire from the + on one sub to the + on the other and the same thing with the -.Ok here is my question.I just got a different box today.I dont have enough speaker wire to do it the way i mentioned above and plus i would ave to run the wire behind the port and I dont know if that would be ok or not.So what i did was wire each sub to 2 ohm by itself by connecting + + and - - on each sub.SO,when i connect both subs to my amp that way will it still be a 2 ohm load or what will he load be?Thanks

Im running an AQ2200 right now on a 150amp alternator and a extra battery in the back with all 1/0 guage wiring and big 3 in 1/0 wiring.I have 2 12's running at 1ohm and my voltage stays well above 14.0 volts.

Hey all.I just got my high output alternator and I'm wanting to do the big 3 upgrade but I have a couple of questions first.I'm going to use the knukoncepts kolliousis flex 1/0 wire to do it and I was wondering about how many feet of wire I would need to do it. My car is a 1977 oldsmobile delta 88 with a 403 engine if that helps any. Also could someone post a good article on how exactly to do it please? Thanks a ton. HawkEye

Hey all.Im going to be getting a Blazer or something similar here in a few months.I was wondering if a 21" Incriminator Audio Warden would be better than 2 FI BTL 18" subs in the Blazer.I would power the sub or subs with a AQ2200.I will eventually get a bigger amp or a second AQ2200 but for the time being ill be using just the one AQ2200.I know this is probaly a real n00b question but I would like to know which would be the best before i go out and spend all the money.Thanks. Hey all. I was just wondering if there was a way to prevent my amp from clipping when I turn the bass up. Also could someone explain exactly what clipping is on a amp? My amp is a AQ2200 my head unit is a Clarion CZ200 my subs are Alpine Type R 15's and I have tsunami 1/0 gauge wiring and all stock electrical. My car is a 1977 oldsmobile delta 88. Oh and I do have a extra battery and I have checked my voltage and it stays around 13.20 when bass hits. Any help is very much appreciated. Thank you.

I had a autotek street machine 1500 Watt mono block and I never had a problem with it.I would still have it but I upgraded to an AQ2200 and sold the autotek to my friend and he is still using it with no problems. Also, the autotek amp is only like 160 bux or something on sonic electronix.
