I waited half a year after this sub was suppose to be released for a teaser pic? I'm kinda disappointed honestly.

Anyone ever tried a 4th or 6th order for the 2010 line of Death Penalty 12? I figured for a 4th order do a 1.5 cubes sealed and 4.5 cubes on the ported side would do decent, but looking to see if anyone has ever tried it. I wanted to base it off a 100% spl setup with interchangeable ports to swap tuning to 32-34hz for daily.

Ik. I was just hoping someone on here may have tested them in a 4th or 6th order.

Has anyone seen the new warden yet? I have asked my dealer for pics and asked in the thread right under this for pics(which got closed right after I asked). I am interested in them, but I don't know anything about them at all.

There's no specs or pics at all?

Are the new Wardens ever going to be here?!?!

Anyone even have pics of the "new" warden? -
I am running 2 18s walled off in my 2002 grand prix. Before I took the 18s out I was doing a 157. I am looking for a component set(I believe stock size is 5.25) so that I can hear my mids and highs over my subs. I am aiming for slightly louder next year as well. Going to try to break that 60 mark. I am not looking to do much fabrication wise so I would like to stick with stock size. I will make a cutout for a super tweeter if that is something someone recommends. I have looked and hunted around a ton, but can't really figure out where to start and what to look for. Any help would be appreciated.

okay. any certain features in an amp that I need to look for? I have an old eclipse amp that I considered using. its a 4 channel.
-
Would those work for PA mids? or should I just do those and 2 component sets?
-
Problem is I actually use my e-brake on my car. I park on a hill. I would have to find covers for whatever speakers I used with those. I've looked at those a few times.
-
Anyone you would recommend to do them? I mean its a really common car so it should be a pretty simple design and if I can find someone to do them for the right price I may go further than just 1 set per door.
-
I don't really high any free time except late at night and I really just don't want to screw them up.
-
Maybe I could find someone to build me some pods? Would that be a better choice?
-
I don't care if I have to keep the speaker cover off. No one really rides in the car other than me. It is just fitting other speakers in there and them not hitting.

I did 0 modification to my doors other than an mdf ring and fit 8's. Let me get some pics of my doors real quick.

I am running a Clarion VZ401. not an active headunit so I need to find a crossover as well then.
-
Build your own out of mdf. If you are doing this anyway I'd suggest trying to fit an 8 if possible. The brand will be up to you. You'll need a 4 channel and some sort of processing. Without hacking my door panel up a 6.5 is all I am gonna be able to fit.

Searching around through sonicelectronics when I seen this post, I have found a few things that I could use. Depth doesnt really seem to be an issue as the speaker is already angled up and they carry depth extenders. So should I just replace my stock tweets with aftermarkets, pick up some nice pa mids, and find a nice amp?

Pretty much. You haven't stated what your current speakers are, and if they are amped, but depending on that yes you could possibly upgrade to some 5.25" component set, and end up with some more output then what have now, but it won't put you anywhere close to being well heard and balanced in relation to 157dB of bass (not that I honestly would ever want to hear a front stage that loud, it would literally be deafening). And that's kinda my point. Looking for the shock and awe factor with good clarity as well. Well you can either severely compromise on your goals, and gain some loudness, or fabricate some panels for some larger drivers, and gain a lot more. Another thing to consider is aside from the fabrication, you'll need some sort of processing, and deal with tuning it all. Have you looked around and seen what others have fit / done on their doors? At least to give you an idea of what you can physically fit. I haven't seen to many people do this kinda stuff to a grand prix lol

So find an adapter for jumping to a 6.5 and run a super tweeter with a pa 6.5 mid? A few questions based off that. Where would I find this adapter? What brand of pa mid would be best for my application? What brand and type of tweeter? And what should I look for in an amp?

My entire front sound stage is stock. Focused on my sub stage first now I want more. I've never done fabrication for mids and highs honestly which is another reason I'm a little against it.

So I'm pretty much stuck listening to it at low volume to hear my mids n highs unless I want to do some fabrication?
