    Looking for a processor

Thnaks for the replies guys. Im still not sure what to do, i spend 800 dollars on the Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT headunit so i kinda dont want to ditch it. I guess i realisticlly could just hook it all straight up to an amp and bypass a processor i just wasnt sure if it was neccasry to run a processor. I dont really need an active front stage as im not to worried about if its active or passive, i just want something to can play decently low, hit high clean mids, keep up with the 4 15" subs, but also be fiberglassed and look somewhat cool for local shows and what not. I know its a lot to ask for in speakers but i know it can be done its just taking some research on my part on what to purchase.

I know what all that is and I know what active processing is. My plan was to run the 2 8" sundowns together to get a 4 ohm load on one channel of an amp. So that necessarily wouldn't be running active in that aspect. I just want something that will be loud and clean to keep up with 4 15's on 5-7000 watts, and super tweets were my first thought but I haven't ever used or heard them. So if someone wants to give my guidance on what to run and what type of processor I should use I would appreciate it.

    Looking for a processor

Yeah ive been checking out the 360.2 and saw the 360.3 is coming out sometime next year. What exactly will using this processor accomplish, i know it will better eq and all that but is this ideal in my setup? Running the Midrange and possibly super tweets is this what i want in my setup or am i better spending the money else where?

    Looking for a processor

Dont really have a set budget, already spending enough as it is so i would say anywhere from 300-700. Im just not positive if i need a processor in my setup or not. Still trying to learn about it.

    Looking for a processor

Hey guys, im currently redoing my build. I plan on doing two 8" sundown neo pro along with a good tweeter in each door as well as maybe glassing a 4" component set in the pillars. Also gonna be running 4 DC 15" XL's, but im looking now at a processor. This is my first big build like this and im new to this whole processor thing so be gentle please haha. My headunit is the pioneer Avic-Z130BT if that matters. I just want to clean things up a bit and do everything the right way so can someone suggest what i need to do and just exactly what a processor will do in my setup?

    Reasons for price change?

Does anyone know why dc has changed there pricing? Im not complaining or anything just want to know why. I was gonna order the 270xp for my 2004 dodge ram 1500 and have been saving the money. Almost had enough which was 499.99 and go on there tonight and see that they now jumped the price up to 629.99. Sucks cause now its gonna be even longer before i get it just wanted to at least have a reason for the price jump.

    Need some 0 gauge

Alright thanks man, ill definitely check the welding cable is it just as good quality as something else? And this is my first time running a big system like this and multiple batteries. Ive read up on it quite a bit just wanna make sure so is this correct, just choose how many runs i want. Then run that many from positive to the postive in the back and that many negatives from the front battery to the batteries in the back?

    Need some 0 gauge

Ya i was gonna go with Knu, just wasnt sure if there is anything cheaper out there. Does anyone have any idea about how many runs i should do to the back?

    Need some 0 gauge

Gonna have a few batteries in the back and need some good 0 gauge to make some runs to the back. The first question is how many runs should i make. Gonna be running between 2-4 15's off a sundown saz-2500 (add a second later). gonna be ran to one or two xs 3100 And next i know knu has the 0 gauge but is there anywhere else i can get some? not sure on how much i need (2004 dodge ram 1500)

    Help with deadning dodge ram

Im about to redo my dodge ram 1500. I will be tearing out all carpet, seats, etc and deadning as much as i can. Right now i just have dynamats on all 4 doors and my back walls. I maybe want to add to the doors with something just dont know what? I bought the speaker pad things that go behind the speakers in the door but that is all so far. For the floor i wanna out some deadner down at least and maybe some type of mat or something, can anyone give me some direction in these areas?

    Which subs

Yeah man i would love to see the steps for a 4 sub setup if you have them. And no im not to stubborn to change my box the reason i dont want is my dad is the one that bought the box and bought the truck for that matter so its kinda a slap in his face to tell him the box he paid 600 dollars for is a waste of my time and isnt gonna cut it. Call it what you want but im respecting my dad and not gonna sell off a box he paid that much for at a fraction of the cost, just my personal preference to keep the box. I really appreciate yall helping out and i understand building a whole new box would be better but, before with my kicker cvr i was happy it was loud and wasnt lacking i didnt think. But like always the upgrade bug hit and i sold that off so now i wanna do something different just need to find the right subs to fullfill my needs.

    Which subs

Well the box is from bassforms and i bought it before i knew anything about building boxes so it would be kinda a 600 dollar waste down the drain (yes i paid 600 dollars for it, i know stupid right? But the good thing is its not a prefab its all completely fiberglassed so its not a normal cheap box with air leaks everywhere. And as far as building a box in the back the way the dodges are i dont see fitting anything more than 2 subs under the seats because right in the middle is a huge hump so the subs would have to go on either side of that hump which only leaves enough room for about two, and like i said earlier i cant build a box that takes up my whole back seat. Thats where the idea of the console box came into play, i still have my whole back seat and only lose my middle seat but gain space for two more subs. So i was thinking maybe by doing that i would gain back the low end from the subs while still being loud. The reasoning for 4 subs is simply because yes ive had loud systems in my truck before but theres only so much you can get out of 2 subs under a seat. So this time around i dont want to just have bass that people think is loud. I want bass that even the car audio world such as this forum can respect because im tired of having just decent bass. And i know its not all about bass but ill be running a nice front stage also so im not gonna just be straight spl.
