    SSD15 '09 Jeep Liberty

My SSD15 is coming this Friday hooray! So, I'm starting to plan out my install and i was wondering which way i should face the box. I have an '09 Jeep Liberty (the newer longer boxier model). I'm not able to build a custom box or get a good one made at the moment, so i bought a box that should be within the reccomended size and tuning ranges. Things to consider: Box has port and sub on the same face. Sky slider roof - its like the ultimate sun roof without the whole roof coming off. It slides from the front to the back and bunches up accordian style, so if box is facing up it won't be facing a solid exactly. Box can fit any direction in trunk. Just lookin for some input on how to face my box, Thanks, Ryan

    Fi Customer Service

This reminds me of a time i was pickin my friend up, just chillin in his drive way when he got in the car and we see the UPS guy pull up to his neighbors house. He strolls up to the doorstep as casual and what not, and just tosses the damn package onto the doorstep! Didn't even bend over or anything. Crazy UPS people

SAE 1200D vs. SAZ 1000D with Fi SSD15!

Alright, thanks for the input... I'm new to Fi products so i just wasn't sure about all of the upgrades and stuff. Also fairly new to car audio in general, which is why im looking for help here. I had read in another thread; "If you have under 1000 watts for the sub go with the 1 15" SSD If you have about 1000 watts for the sub go with the 1 15" SSD w/Flatwind If you have about 1300 watts for the sub go with the 1 15" SSD w/Flatwind and BP option if you have more than 1000 watts less then 1300 watts get a 15" Q Got about 1500 watts get the 15" Q with BP option" so that kind of confused me to start with and I just wanted to make sure I didn't make a mistake. Thanks again for your input and constructive criticism. Just trying to learn!

SAE 1200D vs. SAZ 1000D with Fi SSD15!

as of now im getting the stock sub which would be 800 RMS, but with the upgrades it is my understanding that it can handle more power, but i am not exactly sure how much... so I wanted to know if it had both upgrades (flatwind coil and bp power) which amp would be better, or should i just get one of the upgrades

SAE 1200D vs. SAZ 1000D with Fi SSD15

found a better place for this question, my option to delete the thread is gone? if someone can delete this thatd be great, thanks
  8. Hello all! I just order a ssd15 over the weekend and was gonna be powering it at 800 RMS. Currently my order is for just the basic 15, no flatwind, no bp power. But now I have the opportunity to get a better amp and I am trying to decide between the Sundown SAE 1200 and the sundown SAZ 1000, I read with the flatwind and bp power you can put a lot more power into it, so i was looking at changing my order to include one or both of the upgrades. Both of those amps are the same price so I wasnt sure which to go with. So the question is! : Which amp with which upgrades would give me the best performance for the sub? Thanks, Ryan
  9. Yes i know, the stock sub shows 800 RMS, but with the BP power and flatwind coil upgrade i read it can take a lot more power. So I wanted to know what combo of amp and upgrades would be best.
  10. Planning on having 1 SSD15 and was wondering which of these amps would work best with it and which upgrades i should get on the sub. What would the pros and cons of each amp with different upgrades be? Thanks, Ryan
