So i posted some pics of the new box i got for free and decided i was going to do a half wall with it, ha yea not to much thought has gone into this at all just kinda going to go with it and hope that it all works out ha, plan is to take the box build a false floor get it on bolt it down, see how it sounds than eventually build some baffle to go over that so air doesnt escape, im new to car audio only been into for about a year but the box is for 1 15 but i amgoing to cut it to do 1 18 and its tuned around 30 hz, i have a elemental design 19av2 that i got for a 100 bucks, the box for free and 6 sheets of 3/4" mdf i also got for free im looking for an amp as we speak and eventually a better 18 but for now im 100 bucks into it haha. owell just having some fun. will start getting pics of the gut, and everything else in the slowvo thanks for looking everyone

So as you know...or dont know if your not my subscriber on youtube. I had my shit stolen when i was at the navy recruiter finishing up the rest of my papers, they knocked my drivers side window off the track and jus unlocked the car, i had my tool set behind the passenger seat and that was stolen and putting the pieces together they used my tool set to steal my stereo.... they broke my dash to get my kenwood radio out since i am a **** and do little things just incase of a istuation like this to back fire on people i CA cluded the cage around the cd player and CA clued it into the dash:lol: i had my ipod charger running to my ipod threw the USB to get a nice clean signal and well they followed the cord and got my ipod (16g touch). and below that was my wallet since when i change my pants i ALWAYS forget to take it out of them and have gotten 3 tickets for no license on me:runaround:. and that had 200 cash in it since i was going to get my window motor fixed. but when they stole the CD player they much have crossed some wires a little to close and caused it to burn some wires and some of the AC control's frying my ECU....that i didnt know untill the check engine light so i emptied my savings to fix it since i am not goin to college and after all was said and done. $600 ECU, $5 dash piece, $120 for the soundstream radio, $200 for the window regulator motor, $100 for the tints, $50 for the haggard ass mp3 player, and $xxx for the fun hidden shit next time they decide to break into the car, heres a hint it rhymes with nun and starts with G:evil5::nod: (yes i have a license for it). but here is the video progress and kinda a video story of everything. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WW9ox560px4

Picked up a TC sounds 12" i know it has the 3hp motor and is a D4 im gunna be running it off of me bb2400 at 2ohm so 1700rms to it. but i am kinda mixed on a box...i see so many differant designs. Lports, Areo ports, Bandpass's, Tlines....i dont know which is the right way to go and be the loudest by retaing some nice sound quality but being able to get LOW. i listen to alot of chopped and screwed stuff, honestly i like numbers but am not worried about them anymore id like it be a nice single 12 demo.....something that will get low and just make people be like DAMN thats one 12. any help or ideas everyone? 35"W id like it to go across the whole trunk looks better imo-20"D this could change if it has to 15"H :/ jetta trunks are deep but not high to save there lifes

i honestly love it except now i bought a new car and its lowered, i wanna add a system but i cant do anything to heavy so i think i have to sell the XXX and my DD9515 well has a 95 motor and a 35 cone

so i had a huge box in my back seat and it was nice and loud and all but i missed my backseat so i decided when i got some extra cash to have a new box built, i helped in the design and making but i am at no expense a professional box builder this is the best i was able to do on the budget i had and being done by a shop. if i knew people around me that would build a nice box like this i would of done it, i payed 300 for the box its not done...ha still need to rebuild my sub, still need terminals and the flair the ports....right now according to a buddy of mine im sitting at 48.46hz tht is with the two 4" x 6.12" ports, if i plug one ill be sitting at 34.77hz for daily im gunna be giving it everything my planet audio BB2400.1 has to offer ha, hopen to be doing 144-145? any suggestions would be sweet since im still learning and love to get advice on being able to do something better to make it sound even louder. i wanna sell my planet audio amp and get a soundstream DTR3400.

So i have the old surround coil and spider out, i just need to finish cleaning up the old glue. I dont have aside grinder though like everyone says to use, is there another alternative? something else i could use my recone kit form PAP should be here sometime next week and i just want to make sure everything is cleaned up and ready to go for when it gets here. So i ended up picking a soundstream XXX up from my buddy mario on team soundstream, he had it in his wall and was on his way to a buddys b4 they were done and it wasnt secured all the way so the box flew fwd and damaged one of the subs, but it was just the cone...no the voicecoil, spider or tinsel leads, those are all still hooked up and the sub works ha but im not sure if i have to do a full recone or not, i heard id be fine getting a new surrond and dustcap since i am only gunna be givig it about 3-3.3krms so no where near its power limits, but i was wondering if there is a easy way to get the remaing cone of around the voicecoil, this is going to be the first sub i have reconed, and if anyone knows someone with a nice high surround cone since thats what this one needs, i found one from PSI for the 4" voicecoil which is 65 but it would be nice to do this as cheap as i can, we all like cheap:D but yea just shoot me your opinion thanks everyone.

mmk sweet deal let me know i got a quote from psi for 160+shipping and the guy i got it off of had around 5500 going to it....but low gain, i have a planet audio bb2400.1 which is 1ohm stable ha i aint going any lower

my mistake late at night and yes they are quad 1.2 and read 1.2-1.3 , why must these subs be the biggest pain in the ass to find a recone haha

i used to be so into it, except i broke my tailbone and my collar bone and didnt go to the dr to get a checkup on ym collar bone and it healed wrong so i cant ride anymore ha, i can ride for about 2hrs and than not eb able to ride for the next 5 days untill the soreness in my shoulder goes down. im actually selling my bike with a SHITLOAD of parts
