Electrical Wiring Advice wanted
On3Hundr3dProof replied to Jasonc13's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Go with the biggest alt you can especially if there's a chance you'll go bigger later. The stinger gauge is what I have and it works fine just need a DMM to adjust it. -
Lol I ran back through, and before I got to your last post I thought I was an asshat for not seeing the install pics like "How did i miss that?"I dont want to incite another dustcap discussion but they look really sleek. I figured they would sound better, but do they keep up with the NS's in terms of being loud to the ear?
-
Temptation is setting in..I want some. Really wanna see pics when they get installed!
-
what calibers are you trying to reload for?
-
When reloading you can save A LOT of money if you shop right. If you have a local gun range its an amazing place to get brass for free you just have to spend a little time a pick it up, but in the end it saves a fair amount of money.

Electrical Wiring Advice wanted
On3Hundr3dProof replied to Jasonc13's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I would go with the alt as the first thing for sure(250a+) and like pmureika said 1 run of 2/0(go with welding cable) and a G31 batt(I have the XS XP3000's and love 'em) when you go with the 3500 just add another G31 and maybe another run of cable. About the circuit breakers. http://www.bcae1.com/cirbrakr.htm Good read, and at bottom of the page talks about reliability vs fuses. -
Problem is i'm never done with my audio even when i think I will be lol.

Got a glock 19 just ordered a high noon shoulder rig for it, marlin 30-30 and got rid of my Remington R1 Enhanced 1911 a while ago. Been looking to build an AR for a while now just been a hard choice between guns or audio. Hopefully get to build one around tax return and invest with a gun nut friend of mine to build about 10 ARs to sell during the next fear induced price spike.
-
It wouldn't be a total flop. You can always upgrade to more power later if you wanted.
-
Great review. I started going with welding cable though, and never looked back. Too many variations in "car audio" cable and its more expensive.

Still got my paycheck on the 30th. I don't think they'll cut out my pay but if they do let's just say morale will be low, and its already at zero on a normal day..

Always depresses me when I see it.

This thing looks insane. I love the colorshift on the wall. Great work man! -
I may have the term wrong but to me a "groundpounder" is a system build made for daily not just burping.
-
Yeah. I definitely had a fuse turn into jello because of that before.. Great job on the build though it's looking really good!

Sounds like a real contender. I'd definitely like to see it in the future along with other products from this company. -
Yeah. I get a lot more satisfaction knowing I did all of the labor I could do on my vehicle.
