Nice! How about some videos of the 10" in action? Also what's the reason for the 8" having a different basket design?
-

I managed to remove the plastic plate behind the door handle, and the triangle cover uptop of the door...No idea what else I need to do\unscrew..

Nice! Is it just me or are those boxes HUGE for a single 10? I know they're double boxed..
-
Awesome. Hopefully you start sorting through the d4 sa-10 pallets first..haha. Just curious - how do you test the subs before you ship them out?

Sounds like a good move...Have you considered releasing a 5 channel amplifier?

Wow. What the hell...

Haha, maybe. Unless they're hoping to steal a gun and think someone might be stupid enough to leave one in their car?

I see that all too often. (People including their license plate)

This topic has been discussed some, you can probably find good advice using the search feature...However, some basic advice: 1. Get an alarm, wire speakers up inside the car so it's not pleasant inside the car while the alarm is going off. 2. Don't blast your stereo before you park or where you're going to be parked for awhile. 3. Hide as much equipment as possible (amps under seats, etc). Tint is a good idea although I've seen discussion that tint shows you have something to hide.. 4. Motion lights if you're parking your vehicle on your driveway might be a good idea. 5. Might sound paranoid...But make sure people aren't following you home. I've heard stories of such things.

Haters are going to hate...All of those rules seem very reasonable and are probably the main reason SSA isn't full of garbage posts...I notice sometimes people use the "forbidden" terms and there's some leniency. (As it should be..)

I'm not sure of the specifics but I believe the terminals are soldered on to the wires...You'd have to desolder them then solder new ones one.

Is this the best alt for my truck? Any other options?

I have an '06 tahoe and I am planning on running a saz-3500d @ 1.33ohms and a sax-125.2. I have $400 to put towards an alt today, this Saturday I'll have enough to purchase: 2000-2006 Chevy Tahoe and Suburban V8 AD 270 Amp XP series alternator That seems to be the highest rated alternator I can find. Am I better off waiting and getting that or do any of you guys know of anything cheaper but just as good? -
Nice. That center console looks familiar. Think I saw it being built on another forum? Looks sick. What bagging kit did he use?

I hope you haven't been drinking! Probably regret this in the morning if so. hah

Does anyone have any idea what the saz-3500d would put out watt wise at 1.33ohm while being fed 12v? -

Great suggestion. Thanks -
Sounds like an excellent first time system! Definitely do a build log here, and don't hesitate to ask for help installing it all.

saz 3500d output @ 1.33ohm
mrbojang replied to mrbojang's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Just curious what kind of power the subs will be receiving. They're rated for 600w RMS and I'm going to be running 6 of them...So they'll be under powered a bit @ 1.33ohms, no? Easier on the electrical is always good however.
