Yeah. Not sure how professional these guys were...They couldn't get the HU out of the dash? I don't expect the alarm to be the end all solution. Equipment is being bolted down, security lights added, disabling rear cargo door electronic locks, and I'm going to be more cautious with my system. I did play it close to my house..Lesson learned. I'm hoping the alarm will go off just enough to wake me up so I can go out there and say Hey.. I was thinking of not wiring the alarm up to my door locks, so I can keep the vehicle unlocked and armed if I wanted to. Not sure on this though..

Is this doable? Security question...

New enclosure, amp rack, etc will be bolted to the body of the car...As far as security screws I now have $2,500 in theft coverage...I was talking with someone and they said to just use regular screws on the subs due to insurance covering theft not damage (and people tend to damage subwoofers if you use security screws..). I agree though recones are alot cheaper than new subs\enclosure.. Good idea on disconnecting it. Once everything is setup properly I'll look into that. Reconnecting it from inside might be a pain however.. I would ask your insurance company, that sounds really weird to me. i would use screws like this I'm sure they'll cover damage, if not it's better than having your rates go way up if there is a next time. With the square screws you can fit a small crew driver in and take em out, labor intensive, but for a crook it would be worth it. Thanks man. I'll talk to my insurance agent tomorrow and find out for sure... Any idea where I can buy that bit and 40 or so of those screws? -

So I've been doing some googling on the ms-8 and it looks pretty cool. Have any of you heard it in action before? Worth the $800? Thoughts?

Cool man. Why not start a build log?

Cool man. They're actually some decent subs. I'm running two of the 10" versions of those currently.

mrbojang replied to mrbojang's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Thanks guys, glad I asked...I have loudness off and am just using the preset EQ "Natural" for now and HPF at 100hz until I can figure out all of the EQ settings and see what sounds best\is best for my equipment. -
Pioneer Sound Retriever?
mrbojang posted a topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
So I recently put a pioneer deck in my truck and noticed it has a feature called "Sound Retriever"...Supposedly it enhances compressed audio... Any idea how it does that? And if it's ok to turn on? (What does it do with uncompressed audio?) -
any suggestions for a 3 or 4 day strength\hypertrophy routine?
mrbojang posted a topic in Hall Of Fitness
Hey. So basically I was working out 6 days a week before, started a cut, lost 20lbs (some muscle, and strength)...Sucks. My schedule is all screwy now and I need a new solid routine for strength\hypertrophy, with an emphasis on compound exercises... Any suggestions? -
Someone told me HomeDepot wouldn't cut MDF because it's toxic...Is that not true?

I was talking to Argent Audio and we were thinking a standard ported enclosure. 1.3cf per sub, tuned to 32hz... edit: I just need an enclosure, amp rack, 0 gauge wire\terminals and a fuse block and I can set this stuff up...New alternator is coming this week.

Best I could do for now, they're monsters though.

Cool. I didn't know you ran that forum. One thing that bothers me is the view post limit if you're not registered. I come across your forums on google all the time and I'm not able to view the posts... -
So I just installed a LOC on my front channels and ran the RCA cable to the rear..Tried to take off the passenger door panel based off what I found on google. Didn't work out so well (Said screws were somewhere they werent, still no idea what I need to unscrew to lift the panel off..) Any tips? Vehicle is a 2006 tahoe.
