i have a hatchback too, so when it worked for 7 months it tickled the inside of my ears and moved my hair around how loud it was. But im not sure why out the blue it broke one day on low vol. =( my voltages were ok after an upgrade to my old batt with an optima yellow top. my lights did not even dim after that, but eh anyways. now its broken but voice coil is not burned, its VERY unusual i think
