Well if you are looking more for SQ, go with the Fi Q. I have a BL 15 Fully loaded, with all options and it sounds good. I would at least get cooling though. I guess the box size plays a role too

Alright so i've got everything for my system just sitting here next to me, i'm just in need of a box! It seems like you are really busy right now with alot of builds though, how long do you think it will take to build one and ship it to me? Looking for a box 3.5-4 cuft, Carpeted(black), flushmount + baffle, tuned to 33Hz. Not sure if 4 will fit so I'm thinking 3.5 to play it safe. Car is an 03 Honda civic LX sedan. Aight, so I'm looking to buy a box for my 15" fi bl, since I cant find anyone to build it for me locally, cant get the dimensions, and cant figure it out myself lmao. Was wondering if any of you guys have heard of Shipsound.com? Their boxes are the size im looking for (the 4.3cf in particular), but their prices seem to good to be true, most of them are under $100. Just dont know what they are tuned to either. Heres the link, - ShipSound.com If they are indeed legit, I'm definitely buying through here.

Thanks bro, cuz i didn't have a clue on that really, i'll look up some more on it definitely. Lol yeah i wanted to do things as cheap as possible so thats why i was thinkin the battery. I bet I'm gonna have voltage drops, but I'm still hoping i wont lol. I remember looking up ho alts for my 03 civic and couldn't find too much, but I'll worry about the alt and/or batt if that turns out to be an issue. Whats good guys. So I'm new here as you can tell and I'm planning on getting a 15" Fi bl in my 03 civic. Lookin for some advice here, since i cannot get it at the 3 local shops as they all asked me what Fi is haha. Alright so I cant decide between the Audioque 1200d and the Sundown SAE-1200D. Just saw the Sundown here for $315, but I dont know whether or not this site is legit: Sundown SAE-1200D - Amplifiers - Power Max Electronics LLC If i get the AQ1200d, i would want it to do 1470 watts but it says it will have 5%THD, so will that not sound good?. I've heard the SAE-1200d could do 1500watts and sound good. If the AQ1200d will sound fine at 1470w i will get it, since it's cheaper. As for the BL, would these options work- Dual 2, Cooling, Daily, Universal:yes. Is flatwind needed? I have not done any electrical upgrades and prefer not to, but If i need to, what do you suggest me getting first: Big 3, h/o alt, cap, or a kinetik battery in the back. If kinetik, an HC1400 (1400watt) or a HC 16v (1600watt, 16volt). I currently just replaced my old battery under the hood with a Duralast Gold. Will be getting a pioneer head unit (not sure which one yet) and a stinger volt meter if those are factors. Box will be 4 cubic ft, If i can ever figure out the dimensions for it lol. Would like to tune it to 33-34Hz but I dont have a clue how the hell to do that. Sorry for the long essay i just typed and if anything sounds dumb haha but its been difficult for me to find people who know about this. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks.

Hmm the only one i see is for like $500. I'm happy with what the Sae-1200dv2 can do though, and I cant afford to spend any more than the $315 for it anyways lol, even though having an saz1500d would indeed be sick.

Yeah i was thinking of getting one of those stinger volt meters. I just dont know what number is too low and what it should be at roughly. If I do get a battery i"ll get an HC1800

Whats good, I'm new here and to the whole car audio thing as well. Been browsing these forums for a bit and just recently decided to register lol. Currently getting a 15" Fi BL and would like to have the build done before the end of this month. I posted in the Fi section if you guys know the answers to any of my questions which would be awesome. I'm 18 and a broke college student haha so I cant afford to screw the build up. Will get something better of course when i get the money but the Fi BL will do for now. I'll definitely be a part of these forums, as i'm obsessed with all of this already. Good to be here.

Alright thanks for the advice, this site is the shit haha So I'm going to go with: 15" Fully Loaded Fi BL Sundown Sae-1200d (Thanks for that link cheese20323, will be ordering it thru there; I would love a saz-1500d but too much $$$) Pioneer DEH-P4200UB 4 cu ft. box Tuned 33-34Hz Big 3 Upgrade I'll wait on an alt or extra battery to see if i really need it, hoping i wont since i dont have the money. I also have two Polk Audio Coaxial 6x9's laying around, but was told they cannot be added in. The box is going to be the most difficult thing for me probably. Asked my local shops if they could build one for me and the prices were around $400, so thats a no lol. Cant find any good ones online either. I will figure it out though. I'll post some pics when i get started on things soon, and will maybe post some vids on youtube depending on how it sounds on my camera.

Well I originally planned on the btl, so the Bl will do. The Q is cool but i prefer the BL personally. Think i might go with that sundown though. Seems slightly better than the AQ1200d? Regardless of which one i get, i should be getting the BL Dual 2 correct?
