Well it doesn't really matter but I like the dd m1b cuz I can match it up wit the dd c5b which is better than the 4ch amp powerbass makes -
bandpass or ported in a 325i bmw sedan

Anybody know who would be the best person to talk to about the box design I wanna build -
Aight guys, I have 10" american xfl sub a ported box tuned to 30hz in my sedan and I was thinking about switching it up and doing a 4th order bandpass box with a flared port tube shooting thru the rear deck. Also the rear deck will custom fiberglassed and molded to securely mount the port and speakers. Or should I just leave the ported box and fiberglass the rear deck with a vent for the bass to come thru. I'm just trying to eliminate having to keep the armrest down or having the seats folded down so that the bass isn't trapped in the trunk. Here's a video of a lexus with a 4th order bandpass box ported thru the rear deck thru the factory sub location http://www.caraudio.com/forums/car-audio-build-logs-cars-trucks-suvs/399106-2-re-audio-10-sxs-4th-order-bandpass-ported-through-rear-deck-lexus.html

Perhaps rather pertinent information lol. You do realize that you hadn't even stated what year three yet which doesn't let me know those are there. I really don't like 4" drivers off axis so much, but everything is a compromise. Damn I 4got lol. I have a 06 (e90). Unfortunately the door speakers are 4"s -

What's the required frequencies. If your talking about mid bass, I'll be running 8" subs under the seats in the factory location also -

Yes..... tell me about it. Their 4" speakers in the doors. I did find the o2 audio makes a 4" midrange loud speaker and that's what I'll be using in the doors and I would really like to see if I can fit some in the a-pillars. Also I'm gonna need some help designing this bandpass box especially because of the way I'm gonna have to mount the port on the rear deck. I was thinking maybe if I can get some specs on what airspace I'm gonna need in the sealed portion and ported portion and also port tube sive, I can come up wit my own design to fit my trunk..... I would also love to use plexi -

Sounds good. U can e-mail them to [email protected] if u want -
True..... I feel like this might be a good tool. This will detect clipping on the amp and will prevent it from being damaged. Everyone is worried about there subs on here but nobody said anything about their amps. If buying this tool will help me prevent my 500 dollar amp from possibly being damaged I feel like it is worth it but I do agree the price should be less then 130. Just my opinion

Aight guys just need some help doing a big 3 upgrade in a 06 bmw 325I (e90). Just wondering what's the best way to do this or if anyone ever done this with the stock battery in the trunk..... Ps. What's the best binding post to wire 8 gauge wire in a sub enclosure
-
American bass 10" xfl sub...... (cell phone pics)
-
Sounds good, I'll do that. Also I wanna avoid running the wire straight out the box so what's the best bolt set up to run 8 gauge speaker wires. I've seen people using binding post with ring terminals.
