Would the 2 Rlp 15's in a 5cuft box tuned to 30-32 hz with about 70sqin of port area get louder than my L7 12's. I know they would sound much better

Probably not over $500. And with the 2 15's idea. I know that 5 cuft is small for most dual 15" setups. Just would like to find new ideas, bc I'm all out lol.

I currently have 2 05' s12L7's running on a bx1605d in a 4cuft box tuned to 35hz. The box has the subs and port facing up. I have been looking at alot of different subs and decided to ask your opinion. I have about 5cuft for an enclosure after subs displacement and port area. What two 12"s or 15"s could I get that would sound better and get just as loud or louder preferably with the amount of space I have and my bx1605d? They will be in an 04 Toyota Tacoma Ext. cab. I thought the RL-P's were supposed to be close to the Mags in output?

What about SS RL-p subs? I've read that they sound great, can they hang with either of these in SPL when ported and move as much air?

I know these subs are designed more for SPL, but which of these subs has better SQ? Which can get louder and move more air? Thanks for any advice.

I never had mine in a sealed enclosure so I dont know.Mine were in a 4.5cu.ft. ported enclosure tuned to about 34 hz.They were pretty loud but lacked in sq, 2 me anyway.

Im considering getting an rl-P 15". My last setup was 2 12" L7's and I wasnt satisfied with their sq. I will be putting it in a ported box in my ext. cab Toyota Tacoma. What size box would you recommend? I have up to 4cu.ft. of room but heard that the rl-p would be well satisfied with 3.5 or less.Also will I be happy with how loud it will get after being used to hearing my last install? From what I've read I will be with the subs sq.Thanx 4 any help.Sry 4 all the q's.
