i want it to hit hard!
-
yea u right........ but i might as well jus go with the 15 btl in its right box would be a 5cft box then an 18 thats reccomended 5-8cft to get the nost bass possible you think that's kool?
-
x2, just cause your installer says it will fit doesnt mean it would fit and sound good. If I wanted to I could squeeze an 18" in my trunk but not worth it, compared to the space still available after the 15" was in there. Like I said the most bass is the box that fits and it is recommended for the driver, not the biggest sub you can fit in your car (you pick subs by enclosure room you have available and not the size of the sub). So go measure and get back to us, if your installer is wrong I would definitely be more worried about the installer then the equipment. that makes perfect sense you know how many herts i should get the box tuned to so it can hit the lows and the highs?

yea you right im new to the forums i kept posting diff topics on the same related question my badd ppl but thanks for all you guys info yall helped me out alot ill post a pick of my woofer once i get it thanks again!!!!!

ok he said and would be a 6.5cft double port box after displacements i think, or would a 15 btl in a 5cft box will perform better?
-
so by going with 1 single 15" btl in a 5cft box would be better than an 18" btl in a 6.5 cft box after all displacements?
-
would an 6cft box be alright for the 18" btl or should i just or with the 15' btl in a 5cft box?
-
i guess ill go with the single 15" btl in a 5cft ported box instead of an 18" in a 6.5cft box i wish i had the air space for 1 18 btl but one of the members on this forum said by having 1 15 in its correct encloser v.s having a 18" in a 6.5 encloser which is recommend to have 5-8 cft per sub the 15 would be better to get the most bass. i hope everything work out right just seeing what you guys think. thanks man i appreciate it i guess ill go with the 15" sub

second the 15, also room for amps, batts.. yea its hard to say between one 15" or 18" what would be better for my car, wish i had a truck just want the most bass out of a single sub that's why i wanted to go with fi but my installer needs my car for the whole day he said to build my box so i got time just need the right woofer

i'd appreciate the info man you think if i took one set of 6x9's out and make the rest of the rear deck a port because i have 3 sets of tweeters or would it be better just the way i got it because i know more port area = more bass
-
yea i thought about porting the rear speaker deck but i currently have four 6x9's mounted. but the box im having built for da 18 is a ported 7cf box i just need something ridiculous for my trunk air space and thought one 18 would do the trick alot of ppl was saying that two 15's wouldnt sound good due to my trunk air space so i thought about 0ne 18
