  1. I've been doing some research, and I think I've got it narrowed down a little bit... -VW GTi, possibly VR6, I know I said Japanese, but I really just need a smaller car, kind of sporty, in my price range. I like these because its a hatch and I could take out the back seat and fit my BTL 18, probably with the same box I'm going to use in my Explorer Specs for '02-'06: 1.8T has 180hp, VR6 has 200hp -Subaru Impreza, possibly WRX if in my price range, preferably a hatch for reason stated above Specs for '02 Impreza: 2.5L 165hp, WRX: 2.0T 227hp -Nissan Sentra SE-R: 2.5 170 hp, Spec V: 180hp -Nissan Altima: 2.5 175hp -Honda Accord 2-door: 2.3L 135hp As for the specs, I've listed everything for the '02 model year to keep it on a fairly level basis. Right now I'm leaning towards the GTI, since the ones I've looked at thus far seem to be priced lower than the WRXs, and even the base model 1.8T is the most powerful out of my list save for the WRX. The Accord, which I was origionally looking at seems to be the most anemic of the bunch, so I guess its out. Anything I've left out someone thinks I should consider?

need contact # for Fi audio

This is the second thread in a day about this, try using the search button, or looking in the Fi section. Cheese is right, be patient, they got back to me within 24 hours of emailing. On a sidenote, my BTL 18 is gonna be here TOMORROW!!!
  3. This Sentra SE-R Spec-V is local to me, has 50k miles for $7,500. That seems like a killer deal to me, for an '06 anyways. If I can find something like that once I get my bills paid I'll snatch it up.
  4. I love the last generation Supras, but I'm sure I couldn't find one with low miles that was in my price range.
  5. Yeah, thats exactly like my friends car except hers is a regular Altima, not an SE-R, and hers is dark gray. (I was wrong, she has an Altima, not a Maxima.) I wonder how they stack up to the Accords and other imports performance wise? I'll have to look up some horsepower numbers and 0-60 times. Nice car though, I'll add that to the list. Edit: I didn't even know they made Altima SE-Rs until I saw this, I thought it was only the Sentras. Glad I made a topic, maybe I'll get some more good ideas.

    Fi BTL 22? IB22?

I can understand a double post, but a triple post, five minutes apart? If Steve Meade can fit four eighteens in a Tahoe with the backseat, I'm sure you could fit two 22s with a little room to spare. The box for one 18 in my Explorer sport takes up the ENTIRE cargo area. I'm going to have to leave one side of the back seat folded down to put my amp rack on.
  7. I'm sure if the dealer wanted to be a dick, they could void your warranty for using an amplifier. As per the Magnesem-Moss act they can only void the warranty on parts that have been modified or that are directly effected by parts that have been modified. I'm sure they would try to say that by using an amplifier you are effecting the charging system though.
  8. I'm pretty sure that most are 24v. The Prius uses regenerative braking, I'm pretty sure, somehow gaining power from the brakes.

    o-scoping amps can be dangerous...

I'm interested to know what finally came of these.... 2 years ago.
  10. I've got a Alpine CDA-105, and I really like the iPod controls on it. Its single DIN, you can get one for around $150. Amazon.com: Alpine CDA-105 200 Watt AM/FM/MP3 iPod Receiver: Electronics Soon I'm gonna be upgrading to the Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD though. Its pretty badass, double DIN, 7 in. screen, hookups for a backup camera and extra screens. You can get one for $398 on amazon. Fi BTL 22? IB22?

I kind of hope its not for awhile, or I'll be kickin myself for buyin the 18, haha.
  12. Anyone know if they still make those tsunami battery toppers for optima batteries? I've seen a few pictures of them, but can't find anywhere thats selling them. I think I'm going to order an optima 34/78 (the one with the dual terminals) so I can just use my top terminals and screw ring terminals onto the GM mounts.

    No Name 15"

If you've got a box go ahead and hook it up on one of the amps you've got. I ran a 15 on 300 watts and it sounded damn good.

    Need to talk to Scott

Yeah, just give it a day or two, they'll get back to you man. Dont be so sure. Ive been waiting for months for an email back from the sales email and from nick. The service at Fi isn't what it used to be. Im an international buyer but that doesn't mean I cant have a reply... Im not angry, just disappointed that I cant get the product I want. All that Hype around the world for this product and I cant be a part of it... Only reason I said that is I made a thread and sent an email and had a reply within a day... Also, my BTL is supposed to be here tomorrow!

    Btl 18 power handling..

I'd say your also going to need a high output alternator.
  18. Alright, I guess I'll stick with my P3002, putting the recommended power to them. M5, school me, why does 2 ohm make no sense for front stage?
  19. That's what I was thinking, thanks for the reply.
  20. So I could run them active off the P3002?

    hifonics amp getting warm?

The one in your mom's station wagon?
  22. Nope, it works great. I doubt I'd sell it, I'd probably just put it up. I like my Fosgate shit.
  23. So you guys think I should run these with my P3002, or look for another amp? I've been wanting one of the new Fosgate Power T600-4s. Edit: If I got that T600-4, I know I'd only be able to run them on two channels, or else it would be too much power. Second edit: Could somebody explain to me how I would go about running these active? Would I have to use a 4 channel? Would I be better off with the T400-4?
