Both rides look great. Definitely a lot of time and money in each.

    MICHIGAN check in!

Not from Michigan but to the forum!
  4. You definitely don't have enough space to port that box. Build/buy a new box with more airspace.

    Best sub choice

1.55 per isn't much space, the recommended for SA12s is 1.75 after displacements and such. Smaller of course if you're wanting an spl box or want to run over rms power and it seems like you don't want to do either of those. Is the subwoofer displacement factored in to that 1.55? These subs displace approximately .15 cubic feet each, which would put it down to about 1.4 cubes each. Now 1.4 would be great for a sealed enclosure and would probably sound a bit better with your musical preference. If you are wanting to go with a ported setup, I would suggest stepping down to dual 10"s or a single 12" (you could also use less power and you would have room for an optimal enclosure if you chose to run a single 12") Btw, the SA12 has a mounting depth of 6.5", I'm not sure on the diameter of the magnets and I don't really want to dig one of my SA subs out to check right now.

    Hey whats up

  9. I would only do a wall if I was dead set on having a car basically dedicated to audio or shows, etc. If you are unsure about it, you probably don't want to wall it off. There will be others who will tell you to go for it. Just remember that they don't have to buy your fuel and drive your vehicle. (mpg will go to shit, car will not handle as well, ride firmness will increase, brakes will wear faster and not stop as well, shocks, struts, bushings, etc. will need replaced more often, acceleration will decrease, no more passengers/groceries, etc.) Just my $.02

    got a problem here

You have an older model RE SE series sub, the new ones are the X line and will be RE SEx and they use a different basket and cone. Get yourself something like this to remove the stripped screw... http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00952155000P?mv=rr If the woofer is blown, Fi can recone it or sell you a recone kit and you can diy.

ANYONE Ever seen or have a HiFonics VIII Aurora

You weren't bullshittin' when you picked that name. nice collection
  21. Damn, I wouldn't think that they'd be that heavy. They must be pretty damn beasty.
  22. Do the big 3, install the voltmeter and new battery and just keep an eye on the voltage, if it drops down too low for your liking, gain down a bit until you get the alt installed.
  23. Your stock alt will charge it just fine. You can buy Kinetik online through several sources. Audiosavings.com is probably the cheapest. Great place to order from, I've bought several things from them. Do you have a voltmeter to keep an eye on things?

    my first ever ported setup

You've got room for about 8 cubes each sealed, you'll need a good bit more to compensate for the port, sub, bracing displacements not to mention the double or triple baffle.
