Looks can be deceiving. More weight does not automatically mean more output, or better. Just saying in general. This is true, though I firmly believe that all 3 of these subs will perform very well compared to others at their price point.

to SSA. We'll be patiently waiting for the build log. What amp are you going to use for the Lethal Injections?

Do YOU want? I would go with the 15s.
-
They are giving them away with every purchase. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/pages/IA-Black-%26-Blue-Sale.html

It's obvious which have the potential to be louder, we can't tell you what you want to do. If you want 15s, do it, if not, find someone else to trade with.

Indeed, they shouldn't have any problem with having the delivery driver simply not deliver that package. -
He said "These are all hand built to order as well, no junk prefabs ;p"

Bad amps or bad setup

low nominal impedance + low voltage + vibration = ? -
uh huh

I think you'll be pleased with the overall difference in sound.

Nobody said the sub is bad. It's actually a pretty good deal at $120 shipped. I have a decent bit of experience with the VVX-12s as we've been competing them for about 5 months and have had no problems whatsoever with them.
-
True, I'm not sure about that as I haven't heard any decent setups in vans.

Very much so. Worst "custom, hand built" enclosure I've ever seen. The only thing that was correct was the sub/port orientation. I wanted something about 4 cubes net and got more like 2. I had to seal it myself since there was nothing sealing the joints (some of which had about 1/8" gaps) and I had to cut the holes out so the subs would sit in it. The terminal cup isn't held in well (one screw only goes through plastic), the port is 1" wide and makes horrible noise at 1/2 volume, the baffle flexes like crazy, even with subs rated at 300rms and on about 400 watts. I'm not so sure there is even any glue holding this thing together.

The last one I heard was forward firing in an SQ setup and it was amazing.

Not a bad deal, not a bad driver. You should be pleased with it for $120. It won't sound near as good as a W6 though.
