I'm still waiting for a decent snow

Marine terminals ftw

I don't think you'll be seeing anyone else with the same setup, that's for sure.

SPL-Lab has what you need at a much more affordable price.

I'm getting excited now, I hope this one moves along quickly. The underhood battery compartment is not very big, I'm pretty sure a Kinetik 1400 is too big so your choices are fairly limited there. You have plenty of room in the rear though in the spare tire well for at least a couple hundred AH of reserve .

First off, let me welcome you to the forum. Yes, a pair of Dcon 10s ported will fit in your trunk. The Dcons excel in ported enclosures. They are great for all types of music.

Bummer about being cut loose. I'm ready to see some progress on this thing, I was thinking about it a couple weeks ago. Fullsize Broncos FTW

I'm anxiously waiting to see some customer installs and competitor scores with the new Nightshades. Can you fill us in on any details concerning the new amplifiers such as rated power, like will there be a bridge or new amp to close the gap between the 3500 and NS-1?

I do not like English Composition. I can't finish without it though so I figured I better take it finally. English Comp. 1&2 are the only classes I needed so I took an accelerated course to knock them both out in one semester but only have to do one at a time.

I'm tuned in for this one.

I bet, it must be much more satisfying this way.

It's kinda hard to answer that question as there are always variables. They are certainly capable of extreme output. I can tell you some of the drivers that I was thinking about purchasing for the dual 18 build I'm working on now. I considered Fi BTL N2, Ascendant Audio Mayhem, SSA Zcon, DD 9518SC, Ascendant Audio SMD and the Incriminator Audio Warden. I almost immediately scratched the Warden and SMD options due to cost and decided against the DDs because I wanted something a bit out of the ordinary and I live down the road from DD HQ. The last 3 all had similar power handling and were all very appealing to me. I really wanted to try the Zcon and it was a good bit cheaper than the other 2 so I ended up with a pair of Zcons. I hope that wasn't too ridiculous, it's late and I'm barely hanging on.

In that case, I would pick up something like a Zcon 18 or a pair of nice 15s. Icons come to mind.

You just made my day. -
Are you looking to add more power or electrical, or just looking for a subwoofer upgrade?
-
Sounds like a very interesting trip.

Welcome to the forum! It sounds like you've got a good start, I second the build log notion. Don is definitely THE MAN when it comes to deadening a vehicle.

A twelve pound loss in four days is nice. You're doing great and on pace to accomplish your goal. You can do it, don't forget we're all pulling for you.
-
Nice amp, you're going to love it. I don't think your Caliber is going to appreciate it a bit though.
-
I hope all this foolishness with MECA doesn't affect Oklahoma too much.
-
The Zcon is a great choice, I highly recommend them. What are your goals for this setup? Any electrical upgrades planned or performed already? Do you have a budget in mind?
-
You should be able to find a very nice used 15 for $300 if you keep an eye out and aren't in too big a hurry. Since you say you want to compete, I would suggest saving a little more and buying a stronger driver.

There are already several nice pics, videos and rides in this thread. This was a good idea to you CHEVY4X4BLAZER!

Good for you sir, I have a two hour composition class that starts in less than four hours.
