Very nice I like!!!

Thats the one I recommended in my first post 12 guage would be fine for the subs.
-
Major job right there!!
-
Bring on the box pics!!
-
I originally purchased the box and subs from a member here on the forum. This should be the link to the box build. Box and subs are now in this build. I am guestimating this enclosure at 1.5 net volume with a 3" x 10" port tuned at 32Hz. Here is info on the BIG 3

Something else to think about...the 1000 or 1200 should work fine on stock electrical as long as you have a good bat and Big3. Helps keep things simple.

I would think for daily the 1000 or the 1200 should be fine. I have my 2 SA-8's on a 1200d because that is what I had sitting here when I did the install. If you are looking for somewhere for a deal on these, check Dbr for some refurbs. They have a 1200d and a 1000 in stock. I have dealt with them and they are great.

Damn your quick with the camera to catch the UPS guy!! Or did you sit there all day waiting for him? You got his bat and I got one of his amps. When are those JBL's gonna show up?

Moving right along! Does the resin soak into the foam making it difficult to get out? So you are using the foam as the shape and skeleton for the matting? -
I hope it isn't cold out right now and if it is I hope they have a lot of blankets to keep warm! is their house okay as in is it still there? Yep, house is fine but they are missing a few shingles. Other areas around them did not fair as well.

Talked to my sister in Birmingham, they were huddled in the basement. Seems they are all ok but without power.

Try this box calculator and see if it helps you understand how the port will integrate into the volume of the total enclosure. Remember that the port takes up air space as does the sub and any bracing. So you will have a total volume and a net volume.

Check out this section: Argent Audio You will be able to see the work he does and he can give you a quote on the enclosure and the shipping. It will be custom built for you and your needs. Not a prefab that fits many applications.

Very nice enclosure!! Port paint and carpet look very clean!
-
You are correct on the running a way, that is not really the case. I can say that I know I have not done everything correctly with audio installs, but why does someone become a member of a forum if they are not open to constructive criticism to furthur build on their knowledge? Why do they all seem to come from my state?

^^^This!!! I have 2 of these little beasts (about .7 each tuned to 33hz) on a 1200D and they are very impressive for an 8". Have received many comments from people thinking they were a larger sub.

With all the drama threads I had to relocate to another state.
