Sefugi saved me twice today! forgot to wire the sub out of phase, and after talking to him in chat he told me a hooked up the wrong RCAs. Didn't have the sub RCAs ran to channels 3&4, which are running the sub. Makes total sense, right?! :+1: Well, even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while!

I do believe the tuning frequency of a ported box sits above the zero db line. Yeah, that guy's a dick.. Don't worry about it. If I build to these dimensions: Width: 52 Height: 22 Depth1: 18 Depth2: 18 Port Width: 5 Port Length: 8 It says the tuning frequency will e 31 Hz. Will someone with a more precise calculator run those numbers and tell me what the actual tuning frequency will be? Assuming these dimensions are external, so you need to take into account wood thickness and find internal dimensions then net volume, using 3/4" wood? For finding tuning, you need: net volume, port width, port height, and port length. You did not post a port height. On the RE calculator it would use the default height of 20.5, after subtracting the upper and lower .75 I beleive

Keeping busy keeps me out of trouble! My wife has never seemed to grasp that.

Hoping, but we know you don't always get large performance from large things.

Single 12 daily driver stealth enclosure
sefugi replied to Quentin Jarrell's topic in Test 1, 2, 3...
I'm all ears, oh wait I guess that will be eyes. Love seeing a stealth type install and overcoming the challenges of not taking up un-needed space. -
To me that looks great. I know the power is not there on the sub stage that your use to but it should sound really good. Did you switch the phase of the sub?? Remember that it should be working backwards as compared to being mounted regular in an enclosure.
