Have to agree, don't know how the dash face is going to turn out yet. I will say that the steel bracket for mounting the HU is nice and sturdy compared to the plastic type.

Come on don't be a pansy. It's only a car not brain surgery, nobody dies if you slip a little. Sorry watts09, but that's damn funny! -
Yet another KickAss vid!!

Saw your thread about the alt. setup, that made for an interesting day I'm sure. Excellent idea on the ground attatchment. Thanks for consistently making us say "Why didn't I think of that!"

Holding back on me? Fair enough, we'll try to get some more done.

Got home from work today and Grasshopper had been at it. He got the dash all trimed out for the HU mounting plate. He still has to modify the face of the dash for the change of the location for the AC controls but it is looking good.

If I remember from you showing ina pic all your speakers are coaxial so you don't have to worry about active/passive. You could use a 4 channel amp and run each speaker of it's own channel. You would need to set the crossovers on the amp but that should be fairly simple from reading the users manual. Just use the speakers you have now and add the amp then upgrade speakers later.
-
Are you running your speakers off the HU power?? If so you will see a lot of improvement there!

Putting 40 in a van sounds better to me!
