This was the next little mod. Grasshoppa wanted the bass knob to be stealth and we were adding a usb to the dash, so we worked them into power-port section and the ash-tray. Unit removed... Port about to be transformed. Now his wife will have power, usb and lighter. Next is the bass knob... With a little trimming it will fit in the ashtray. Here are the results.

A little update on the progress the other night. Doors are back together. CDT tweeter in stock location. Damn, didn't realize that grill was so dirty till I posted this pic. Finished up the wiring to the amp.

What kind of 18s??? Video?? 2 DD 3500 series. Don't know much about them, but i do plan to get some video time. He found me on youtube and recognized the town in the background of my videos and sent me a PM telling me he lives here as well and wants to hear the 12s. Never heard an 18, let alone see on in person. Finally get to experience all the fuss! Lookin' forward to seeing the vids!! Have fun!!

Honestly, with my schedule, it would be SO much easier to pay you, hand you a stack of equipment and come back in a week. A WEEK?? When have you seen me be able to do a build in a week!! I want to keep it simple this go round. Not going over the top and this is not our show vehicle. Even simple takes me forever!

Got a few more things done last night when Grasshopper made it over. Seem to be having a few problems this morning with posting pics, will get a few posted this evening after work.

I think that is BS, you been riding around listening to your new system while we have been sitting here all evening waiting for all those pics you promised!!

I hope to have most of it done. My lifestyle is very hectic which gives me very little free time to work on garage projects. I have plans every weekend until December...wtf! I have much more to do with this build. Some pretty cool stuff coming up next! You sound as busy as me, I am happy to get a few moments here and there to even do a little research and planning for a build for myself. Keep up the great work as you squeeze in the time!!
