I like that you are thinking out the layout of your wiring for the components in your setup. Looking foward to seeing it come together... -
Thanks...And about an hour and a half depending on traffic and how fast you drive. And it's not looking good for getting the amp in today. I just got back from the hospital and the doctor said not to do anything except for nothing really lol.

It all seems to be shaping up nicely, and the voltage is waiting for some action!!

Sundown 2000D vs. Soundstream DTR1.2200D
sefugi replied to swagger_wagon468's topic in Sundown Audio
I would have to agree with Jay-cee, and say to go with what fits your budget. My son choose the DTR's for his build and they have been good solid amps. He liked them because of the option of mounting them vertical and the price. My next build will be with a couple of Sundowns to give them a shot. Good Luck with your decision!! -

Stop teasing and mount that amp!!!

Nice clean work!!! Looking forward to more!! -
Will this work if I do this to my port?
sefugi replied to Davo2378's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
I would say if the first enclosure is what you are using now, it does not have a good sound because you are tuned a little high. Making the port smaller to acheive a lower tuning would not be the way to go, imo because of the loss of port area. -

Makes my build seem very small but want to see more of this one

Yeah it does suck, but as you said we all make mistakes and we grow by learning from them. I was proud of myself for keeping my cool. Grasshopper was over the evening that it happened, and said after the dust settled that he would have lost it. I had been preparing myself for this type of thing to happen and I guess I was ready. I will be waiting for the weather to warm up a bit before I put the mend on the bumper. To bad it will be cutting into the time I wanted to use for my project.
