It's chin scraps! I haven't seen that video before. The helmet I was referring to was the Ron White "Color coded awareness system." It's pretty tame for Ron White. I don't know how to embed a video, so here's the link. Put your helmet on!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueTfihcVJlI

Since you say you already have all the materials needed I would go for building your own. You did not say if the subs are dual 4 or single 4 ohm, but the recomended box spec apear to be the same on the support site. Here are the specs for the box they recomend for one: http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/subwoofers/TechData_T9512-04.pdf Got that from here: http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/manualsQuickInstall/subs.cfm Good Luck!

I know there can be a long debate on the bug being a girls car or not, but at the right price and being able to get good mpg I'd go for it. Your questions on the possibilities reminded me of a thread I saw here on SSA so I went back and looked for it. Good luck on your desicion and here are the vids and the link.... I can appretiate your concern with not wanting to cut the dash to keep the look of this classic, but if you were to mount the unit in the glovebox and used a remote you would have the usage and to look at the vehicles interior it would still have the complete factory look. Just my .02.

Imma little slow lol....What DOH! CLASSIC!!!!

SA8's ported by Subthump.com. Any interest? Crew Cab and Extended
sefugi replied to Trancer's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
That was quite a large post and not exactly sure what you are wanting but here are a few specs that I think you were asking for: 5.25" depth 8.25" overall basket OD (no gasket) 7.375" cut-out diameter (without gasket) 7.25" cut-out diameter (with gasket) 6.25" magnet diameter We suggest 0.6 - 1 cube ported tuned to 30-40 hz based on your goals and preferences. Sealed can be utilized but is not optimal for these drivers. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These specs came from SSA store: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/products/Sundown-Audio-SA%252d8-Sub-woofer.html Hope maybe this answers a few of your ?'s. -
back at ya, also from the sunshine state!!!

Maybe because he enjoys being frustrated from building and changing and not reaching a goal ? Or he enjoys pissing against the wind ? Similar setup + Different vehicle = Same results -
