Difference in performance between MB Quart 1500D and Sundown SAZ-1500D

What's the difference in performance between the MB Quart 1500D and the Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D considering there's almost a $250 price difference? -
I hope it's soon. My electrical is crying as we speak

The shirt would look 10x better if the front logo was smaller and moved to the right breast area

If you have to ask this question then stick with rated rms of 400 rms but it will really come down to your enclosure so those details would help answer your question more accurate. I'm always down to learn how I can figure this stuff out. That's why I posted the question on a learning forum. My enclosure is 1.75 cf tuned to 36hz.

With these batteries, as long as it fits and suites my needs, there's nothing else I need to worry about?

Another question for you guys. The subs are rated at 400 RMS. I think someone said in another thread that they could handle 600 rms daily. What do you find is the sweet spot? What is the max rms you think these could handle daily? I will have 2 of these hooked up to an SAE-1200D which claims to hit 1500rms at around 12 v

before I asked if they needed breakin and you answered that they do not. How is it that these don't need breakin and 1508 need to be broken in for about a month before going all out?

Difference in performance between MB Quart 1500D and Sundown SAZ-1500D

I found this from another forum: "To expand on what Canaan said, the SAE-1200D is not meant to be stable or handle below 1ohm like the SAZ-1500D can, or meant to handle 17volts like the SAZ-1500D can. " seem right? so if i dont have any need of going below 1 ohm or putting in 17+ volts, the SAE is a better choice? -

When they come in, the 1500.1D will be powering a pair of Sundown SA-8 D4 Subs a bit off topic, but why is the $425 SAZ-1500D twice as expencive as the $275 SAE-1200D? The best person to answer that question would be Jacob, for he is the only one who can answer that. The SAE-1200D is an entry level amp while the SAZ line is the competitive line. Not really twice as expensive neither but I get your drift. sorry, my math skills are failing me at the moment haha I'll send him an email -

Phi, the reason why i didn't consider your audiopipe recommendation is because i had already bought the MB Quart AMP. At the time i bought it i was on a budget. But, as of late, some funds have come in Having that extra money, i was thinking about a Sundown amp instead. People rave about sundown and how they're built like diamonds - rock solid and absolutely gorgeous made my mouse clicker finger twitch -

To me it will come down to personal preference, if you feel that is important to you then go for it and if not then go with the MB Quart. I could of choose a Audioque AQ2200D, Hifonics BXI2610, Rockford Fosgate BD2000.1 but I choose the Sundown SAZ-2000D for those reasons and have not looked back. One thing I always go buy is cheaper is not always better, I even heard that from an Image Dynamics Tech when I was asking about the MB Quart DSC4125 vs. Sundown SAX-100.4 today. I understand that you want to save money if you can, both will put out 2000 rms and play a sub quite well. If your interested in saving money then go for the MB Quart and if you interested in getting the best with your given budget then go with Sundown. thanks. i got my answer -

go from a lower quality amp to a higher quality amp and its almost a guarentee that ur going to hear some kind of a difference. Meh, possible but unlikely. More likely it's a difference in power or some system setting. this exactly. I dont know much about car audio, but this theory makes more sense to me. -

CURRENT PRICE WISE COMPARISON: MB QUART DSC 1500.1D : $188.41 shipped Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D: $425 shipped So basically what i get from this thread is that the Sundown is a bit easier on the electrical because it can operate at lower voltages. Also that the Sundown Audio customer service is top notch. are these advantages worth the $230 price difference? sure the sundown is in my budget, but if i spent less and went with the MB quart i could spend that price difference elsewhere. -

Got cha. Actually I meant to say that if I needed about 1000rms from an amp. Of course I know the 1500d gives more power, but 500 rms doesn't equate $250 to me anyways.
