Budget Wall Build (6) 15'S 4,000 WATTS
swift replied to Quentin Jarrell's topic in Direct Sound Solutions
Looks familiar, haha. Should get loud! -
Turn the head unit off before you shut off the car, when you get back in it should stay off What good is that? Sorry read it backwards. Thought you meant turning ON. Carry on

32g Verizon iPhone 4 with black otter box case and belt clip In good shape 200 shipped Pic will come soon, it's not giving me the attachment option from my phone. Let me load it to photobucket I guess

The motor will tell you everything that is wrong. Does the light blink when it goes back up? Mine did this a couple times and I had to get the sensors replaced. But the repair guy told me the unit tells you whats wrong. Light blinks twice means this**** Light blinks three times means this**** etc etc. The manual should tell you what each scenario means. Try to look it up online if you cant find the paper back. If I had known this when I had the problem I would have saved the money I paid him

Love the old Camaros. Nice car!
-
Sounds super good too. The new front stage is very clean bro. Mofo is loud as hell for a street box single 15!

I will have to check these out next time your around, looks good though -
Nah, I am only posting these pics to share them. They do no good locked away in photobucket. Seeing the 89 is alittle sickening though. I'm sure a lot of guys on here have cars they wish they still had.

I forgot the Cobra we built. Snce we went to the track so much we decided to go in together and buy and build a race car. we drove down to Georgia and bought a 03 Cobra that had 27k miles on it and was pretty unmolested. But not for long.....haha. The plan was to run 8's in this car with the stock motor in it then put a big power plant in and run in the 10.5 class. Never did it though. My best in it was a 9.6 if I remember right on just blower, never had a chance to spray it. This car took us 2 years to build, I did have fun taking this to the track. But not as much fun as taking my street cars believe it or not.

That's where you are wrong. They do everything you want, my reasonings are alittle different. Trust me, people can't believe when I tell them no tweeters are in my truck right now. You need to hear some to understand
-
The Pioneer DEX-P99RS has 4 way capability and can do it. My 80prs is acting goofy, I may upgrade. The main reason for me actually adding them isnt necessarily because the horns arent doing what I want. I just want to add tweeters to my doors and the only way to blend it will be to cross them super high and cut off the horns up higher where they arent as efficient. I have noticed if both doors are open and I am demoing or at a event then the horns under the dash dont do whats needed outside. So I want the ability to play music at a large event and have full sound coming straight off the doors. Each door is getting 3 8in Crescendos and 2 Ft1's. I want alot of flexibility at my fingertips for different situations. Large 4th of July party, no problem, turn the horns down, and go much wider on the 8's and FT1's. But daily and normal demos the FT1's will only do very high end duties and the horns will be my main source from 1k+ Sorry OP for any derailment.
-
Btw I hope you have a loud sub setup. Right now I am only running one pro audio 6.5 per door and the horns under dash and it keeps up . No mid bass but I am in the middle of changing that right now
-
From what I understand from Eric Stevens it could help. But not with those Morels. The FT1's may do the trick from 12-15k+ you need some with very high sensitivy to do it. My build will actually consist of FT1's being crossed very high like that to help add a sparkle up high where the horns start to taper off. But I would not want them to overlap I don't think. Super tweeters cannot sound at all like some good horns. I didn't realize this until I finally listened to guys like M5 and bought some. Get horns and try that. Unless your like me and nothing is ever good enough then you should be fine. Lol I will let you know how they sound together as soon as my doors get back from EpicCenter Designs. Luckily I can switch the super tweeters off if it doesn't sound the way I want and only run them at shows demoing for larger crowds.

Much better

Yes follow the video, But before starting that you need to go over it by itself first to make sure the letters stay on the wax paper before you can remove the backing.
-
Before doing anything take a credit card and go over it mulitiple times to make sure the letter stick to the paper. THEN peel one side off, apply it to the window and then use the credit card again and go over it multiple times. Then you can slowly peel away the paper leaving each letter on the window

Horns are the way to go man. They get as loud as you need them to without fatigue.

Suggest a loud 10" sub for a sealed box
swift replied to teoulennon's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
I am doing a build right now with one Sundown SD-2 12 in 1.1cu net sealed. Box is 34 w 15 tall, 8 d bottom, 6 deep top. I will let you know how it sounds when complete. Should be very nice -
Ohio and surrounding states members and competitors, check this out

I love the setup and rules for this. I wish TN had this going on, sure would be fun. I bet there will be some LOUD scores!! -
Keep in mind getting good work done is not cheap, 240 is not a terrible price. To me 3-4 hours seems pretty fast. I would put probably have double that time in a box that size but I am pretty picky. My suggestion is take the money it would cost to have one built and go buy your self a 100 circular saw, cheap jig saw and a straight edge and some clamps. Buy a couple sheets and try it your self, once you build your first you will probably build your second, etc etc. Or pay Pro Rabbit and let him build and ship it to you.

Oh man, I am deeply sorry !!! I hate to even ask but what happen?
-
They have been growing on me for awhile. I almost bought a CTS instead of the SRX for my wife but after driving both the SRX was much more vehicle. Now for me personally a cts-v makes perfect sense. I do not care for the recaro seats. The standards are way more comfortable for daily driving, I also found the interior very fitting for me (5-11 250lbs) it is smaller but it's expected. The auto is a huge plus because the wife can drive it. I love the wide ass end. It has bad blind spots but the blind spot indicators in the mirrors actually work pretty good.! As far as power it's just a beast, I have driven some serious sports cars and the caddy is fkn impressive.

Look forward to it, get that Cutass bangin!
