Two twelves vs single fifteen for daily groundpounder
swift replied to lilman's topic in Subwoofers / Speakers
Since all of this is likely window shopping then two 12's will outperform one 15. But I can make one 15 sound awfully damn good if allowed to do it right. My guess is that if you heard either setup done corretly then either one will suit your needs. Find out how much money and space you have then make a decision. Either option can meet your goals. At the end of the day your wallet makes the decision. -
8 ssa zcon 15's, 4 nendo 5500's and 20 Xs power d1600's

That shit is nuts!!!! Awesome man for sure -
Maybe after these wear out I will go 37's but it's plenty high on 35's. With the aggressive offset I would probably have to do trimming of the bumper to clear them. It's hard for a picture to show just how big these trucks are as the side mirrors are higher than my head. Lmao.

Wheels came today and got them on. Love the look but the rear needs to come up another inch. Im not a huge fan of the "cali lean" lol. Next up is to remove the side steps and PlasticDip the bumpers, grill surround and mirrors until I can have it all paint matched.

I have alot of experience with PlasticDip. The stuff is awesome, almost impossible to fuck it up. When you do the whole truck. Go as thick as possible, I mean really thick especially in areas you think isnt a big deal. Makes it soooo much easier to remove down the road. After doing 4 sets of wheels I have learned to lay as many coats as possible. But your 7 coats should be good -
I did 3.3cu tuned at 33hz in a similar year Altima. Could run port to rear or turn around and it fits snug in the little area and easy to seal off from rear. Both ways sounded good too. I could try to look up what dimensions I did if you want.

Wish my damn wheels would ship. Riding around high on stock wheels... lmao I am stuck on the flavored vodka kick. Mello Yello and whipped cream flavored vodka is just awesome. I normally don't even like vodka either.

SSA Evil on 6,000 Watts, 12 Months Later
swift replied to Sencheezy's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
You boys are tough on equipment, LOL Man as much as you demo and beat on that sub it doesnt suprise me much. Playing a entire song at full tilt with alot of power is hell on anything, especially after doing that daily for a year solid. Imagine running that Chaos class or whatever Julian use to do with those 3 minute averages on music. You have essentially done that over and over daily just riding around... hahaha Dont you have a video of you playing full tilt for like 5 minutes straight? -
The lift is a 4.5in Rough Country kit with dual steering stabilizers. It has a 4in block in the rear but I think I will be putting a 5in block in the rear to get the back up alittle more. Overall for the money spent I am very impressed with the ride. Gonna see how she looks with the wheels on first. Truck is much higher than it looks in the photos.

Got the lift on. Rides great. Now hopefully my wheels and tires will be here soon. Gonna start looking into the audio portion next.

Competition's in TN?
swift replied to garychurch84's topic in Competitions & Other Organized SPL/SQ Events
Nothing. -
The bar is probably too high on your back or shoulders, also keep your head up and look upwards instead of down.

All that hair, fur, etc looks super ghetto I think. I think its a easy way for people to cover up ugly and laziness honestly. I would bet that why 75% of people do it.

How to fit 8's in my doors, 2000 Chevy Blazer 4dr
swift replied to SpeakerBoy's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
PWX's will get loud as piss and sound decent when the subs are playing which my guess will be fine for you. When the subs are turned off they really do not sound all that good. Not sure what subs your running or how many but unless you are "loud" there is no need running them. Running IB in the doors will have almost NO midbass -
alot will determine wht size you will want, SPL, or more for lows, or a balance of both. Personally I would do around 26cuft net. BTW, horrible first post.

my system hits harder when its raining! any explanation?
swift replied to gsWes's topic in General Audio
Maybe quit drinking, that helps. -
Really happy with this new motor. It's just as strong stock as my built 07 was. Should be sick with the aggressive stance I had decided on. Hoping the tires don't rub and I don't have to trim much.

Holy Chit Mang!!

Yep already bought it. 2012 F250 Lariat 6.7 diesel. Thing is so nice and stout. It looks just like the one pictured without the wheels and lift. I will get some pics tomorrow.
-
This is what she will look like. Mine is the same color also

Well traded my V wagon on a 2012 F250 Lariat 4x4. Now time to get 8in lift and 22x12 American force wheels with 37in tires. much happier back in a big diesel. This thing is just as strong stock as my modded 07 was. Very happy to make that trade. Got this one for 45k and it's like new with 13k miles on it.
