Yeah, Got it from a ole country boy that was working on my car one time. He said man that part is high as bird pussy, Its like 500 bucks. I laughed my ass off. Giraffe pussy is pretty high too and works well in the same case. lmao
-
Doc said he has to drill a hole through my bone to push the tendon through it and tie on the other side. Sounds like Monday and Tuesday I'll be high as bird pussy. LOL
-
How long before you can "work the stranger"? lol, No issues there, I still have one good hand so I can only grab half of it at once now. lmao hahaha
-
Tore by bicep tendon completely off the bone. Sucks!!!! Surgery monday morning, recovery 3 months...... Trying to lift a little 80 4wheeler into the bed of truck and heard a loud 3 pops, kinda like popping your knuckles. Fingers went numb and felt like it was ran over by a car. Atleast it was my left arm.

Raised the ass up another 2 inches. Looks much better without the ole Cali lean, lol. Now its time to finally get the audio going.

Why dont you just dial it back to 14.5-14.8, seems like the logical thing to do. -

DSS Tridents and Twisted Sounds S-10. Road to 166dBs

lol, I bet they do. Some nice 22's and tires would be cheaper. Those Edge sport models look badass anyway. -

If its not a lease looks like a time for new wheels. -
Thanks! Got rid of the lean today and raised the rear up about 2 inches. Went from a 4in block to a 5in block. Also added airbags to the back adding adding anywhere from 0-3 inches depending on how much air I run. I like it better this way and will also get rid of the terrible sag when I tow heavy

Looks like I will be able to run the DSS 15 in the console box from my other truck. It fits perfect actually. I removed the small seat in the rear and finagled the box in, port runs behind the seat like before. amps will mount under seat and box. This gives me room for 2 people in the back seat still. I have pulled it all back out and now the wiring and deadening process will start. The monster Ethos beside a Sundown sd12.
-
Great work on the box!!!! The internal bracing with the logo should be all white or all red IMO with led inside. The letters being red only leave some to be desired, but awesome job and I'm sure it will be loud as hell!

I can do a rear center console if I buy some buckets and fab some seat brackets. It has a rear bench as of now, I dont want to mess with the front console. The center console I built for my old F250 sounds awesome and would be a good fit for the DSS but finding black leather buckets will be either hard to do or very costly.

Here is what I have have laying around in my garage, lol. Just unsure what to use. 15in DSS Ethos 12in Sundown SD-12 Crescendo BC2000 Incriminator Audio 6.4 125ft of 2/0, 40ft of 1/0 (plenty to do whatever I want) 1 set of Sundown 6.5 components (may or may not use) 2 Crescendo PWX 6.5's (will not use) 2 FT1 tweeters (may or may not use) May run active and try out some high quality 6.5's or 8's for the doors and look for some wide range tweeters. IDK WTF I want to do..........................
-
Really want to get a build going here. I now have a Pioneer 80prs to use. Also have a DSS Ethos 15 or a Sundown SD12. If I run the SD12 I will do a under rear seat sealed box and will get a set of nice components. If I want to run the DSS 15 I will have to either remove the 40 split in the rear or run my center console back there and find some bucket seats to run. Im kinda stumped at this point on which direction to go
-
In my experience its the crossovers. Too much power or clipping is being applied and they are protecting. Which is good because if not they would just blow. The crossovers will eventually blow if you keep doing it. Buy a higher rms component set, turn the volume down or go active and switch to pro audio. I blew 2 sets of tweeters in the T2652s. I still have a pair of the mids. They are loud but after one song full tilt the tweeters would go muffled until they cooled down. Those components get loud and sound decent, replacing with Crescendo pwx's would be horrible.
-
Yeah they would SUCK for what your doing.
-
I love my SP4's. Not to sound bias but my walled setup had the best mix of quality/spl that I have heard in a large setup. Really miss it now that its gone.
-
Loudest two 12 setup I ever heard was a pair of custom PSI subs at a Meca event. Damn thing was doing 154's at the headrest. Blew my mind that two12's could be that loud. Other than that I dont know anything about them. I do know for a fact that you would be very happy with SSA, DSS, FI, or Sundown

diesel truck truck and extra battery
swift replied to rowdyful7's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Good luck I had a Mechman 370 alt and 8 AGM batteries running 12k. It worked great but I wouldnt want less. -
This is what is hard, Just ditch the back seats if you want to get loud. Sliding a box in and out will suck and likely you will either leave it in more or nit use it as much because of this. Thats why I just bit the bullet and removed them on my old truck.

Cant wait to see your results and thoughts on this new venture. Good luck hitting your goals man! These small cab trucks are the way to go when getting loud.
