I have a Hifonics amp its 1500 RMS at 1ohm I believe says 2000 RMS but we know how they are. Its only temp intill I get some JL amps....It will be for daily use with maybe a few light SPL comps in my club. I listen to Rap mostly. I was gong to go for the 1 ohm option.....thanks dude!

Thanks for the link but what do you guys think is ideal 1.75-2.5 cubic feet is their a sweet spot anybody has found or just any were in that size? its going into a cobalt LT trunk if anybody has history with that. Thanks again.

Hey guys! So I just bought a brand new 2010 cobalt Lt 2 door and I am lookin to throw a 12" BTL in it! One problem is the trunk is Small!!!! My old sub box wont even fit and its not as beefy as an Fi it was an Orion hcca 10" But I really want this sub so I was thinking of getting the Fi built into the trunk Like Fiber glass or something. You guys are really helpful so I was wondering does this seem like a good idea to you? any other adivce perhaps? I would give you the trunk specs but its drark right now I can get them tomorrow. Has anybody tried na Fi in a custome trunk? thanks for any help!

No worries dude I got my whole trunk done already. I have an orion hcca 10.2 in there now and kinda do SPL comps on the side but want to get more serious with this .

Oh ya for sure.....I want to make it as big as possible Want to fill whole trunk up lol

Hey guys I need some fast help......Through a friend of a friend I know somebody selling a fully loaded btl 15" 1 ohm......only problem is I want to put it in a 2002 cavalier trunk and I am not sure it will fit. It does not come with a box right now so I will have to have one made....my question should I even bother buying the sub? Is there any chance of being able to make this beast fit lol.....I know I should go get my trunk measurements but its late and dark were I live so I will have to get that tomorrow. Thanks a lot for any help anyone can give

For sure dude. Car came with 4G but for sure want 1/0 G to get the most output for this beast lol!

Thanks Man. all I have done in terms of electrical is a yellow top battery under hod and the car is wired uped with 4G wire. Planing to do the BIG 3 I knew about that ( this sub is working process) lol

Get a D2 ohm subwoofer so you can wire it a 1 ohm final load: That amp will be fine, just set the gains right and no clipping. What size box you plan on doing with this subwoofer, this will also determine the power you can use with it. If you want to consider another amp, what is your budget?
