I've had experience with (owned or "demo-d"): 18 XXX 15 Brahma TWO 12" magnums (claw-baskets) Single SI D2 12" Prototype The brahma is the best small sealed box woofer, edging out the magnums by a SMIDGE. Sounds great, very smooth, still sound great ported (some1 else's install...ported)! The 18XXX obviously had the most output...then agains it's in 7.5 cubes NET, 120 in^2 of port, and has 2000rms on it...lol. Also had experience with various other XXX's...the output is great. The Magnums, both the original claw...and the new proto...have UNBELIEVABLE low-end. I loved my dual Magnum 12's and 2400++ rms ported. Never had experience personally with a brahma ported, Didn't demo the NEW SI D2 sealed, never had a XXX sealed either. Plenty of other stuff I've owned as well... Those are my opinions on a few! nG

You have to buy a stapping module...ghey NG -
You really don't have the PRIVILEGE of using either of the above...towards me! NG

Also, I never said "soak them" and keep the dripping with massive amounts of resin. I did my pods two layers of mat at a time...dipped each on both sides...then put them together...then layed them down. No bubbles, REAL quick..and STRONG as hell. A 240 pound man can literally stand on my pods...and jump! Just saying use a "good amount" of resin, glad you said you might take me up on that offer NG

Enough pictures of TAPE, I wanna see more glassin! Also CB, if you ever tell me to STFU...I'm gonna have to hunt your little punk ass down and beat you over the head with my 18XXX...and then smash your skull in with my 15DP NG

Any single 4ohm rl-i's left? If so, go with that...to present a 2ohm load to the nine.1 NG

Which 3 sets did you own and which one was the best? How was the sound? This is my first post here! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I've owned: TWO sets of CDT Cl-61 CDT ef61cfi/25 Also heard: CDT HD62 CDT EF61cv's CDT EF51CV's CDT EF61's The best out of the set was the HD's, they love power...the more power=more midbass. The best price to performance ratio HANDS DOWN was the set of EF61cfi/25's I owned...as stated, upgraded xover and tweet, carbon fiber mids, all for under $200 shipped. peace NG

The infinities lack in midbass...A LOT. Never heard the polk's in car, sound "ok" at a shop in the wall. NG <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I was leaning toward the Infinity's, glad to know that they are lacking. I'll maybe look into something else along with the Polk's. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why not some CDT ef61cfi/25, under $200 brand new with warranty shipped from Don. Don is an authorized CDT dealer. Hit him up tell him I sent ya. AIM: djdilliondon Email: [email protected] I have owned THREE sets of CDT components throughought the years, and loved all three...especially for the price. The particular set mentioned above comes with upgraded xover, and upgrade tweeter (1" silk). I loved mine in my truck! NG

Don't forget my e-mail I sent weeks ago Mike hehehehehe...oh and Make sure it's the summer address! Thanks again! -NG

It's stupid to recommend a subwoofer that isn't even out yet... Anyways...I'd recommend the rl-i's as well. I have a single rl-i12 in my home stereo setup, ported @22hz receiving 250rms via a Rythmik Audio plate amp. The sound quality and output are amazing. Dual rl-i 10's would be GREAT! NG

What I have been told (and I have used) for PURE SPL: 3.5 cubes NET, tune to peak @ Resonant Frequency, 70-90 in^2 of port! Keep in mind, this is for a pure competition SPL enclosure....that's the sweet spot. NG PS: Power handling, I used to have TWO Magnum 12's and 2400++ rms daily. Competition, you can burp them with 2000-3000rms...seen it done numerous times.

USE MORE RESIN!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!! Lol, but for real, take the strips....DIP THEM in the resin...completely submerse them! The drag them against the edge of the container to get the excess off...then lay down. You shouldn't be able to see the fibers at all But yeah...I like how people are seeing the light...and going with the "add-ons" that protrude into the door panel! It's the correct way to go, and adds volume! Oh and remember, enlcosures that are sealed and TOO small are worse for mid-bass than IB NG

Holy 5million pics BATMAN!!!! Looking good! NG

Hey, did you get the receiver and Magnum parts yet? I haven't heard anything from you. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, got them last week! everything is QUITE dandy! Thanks again Ryan! Oh, and I'm DEFINITELY going to have to find a manual for that reciever online...I'm just...lost pressing all these button and trying to figure out what they all do...lol -Noah

I'd do the 8's in all honesty...most people don't understand how AMAZING these 8's are. Get 4 rl-i 8's...port them in 3 cubes NET @30-32hz and 1200-2000rms...and WOW...be prepared to be amazed! I owned an older style 8, with a similar motor...and it was WICKED. DO IT! NG
-
yeah you can... and...yeah you can... Acer M5/M6 and M5ne/M6ne NG PS: I've heard LOTS of reliability problems with Toshiba, and witnessed it as well. My roommate has had WORLDS of problems with his Satellite series...overheating and more...

Can I have the older proto...since it was scrapped? I'll buy it... NG
