It's a 2.5" Coil, I have quite a few 7500s laying around... I spoke with Nick on AIM months and months back, and he mentioned you probably didn't have a coil that would fit. nG

w00ts. I use my pair of CSS 4.5's as a makeshift center channel ATM... nG

They used Split Coil on the Poly 6.5's; that was the only line that used a linear BL method. The old Avalanches used to employ split gap ... Maybe, if you're ignorant. Why a steel basket? nG

I had 400watts each on mine at one time... sounded great. I recommend a 500/1 on each. I'd ask for them to be made with soft spiders, My 10's were... so they were able to make more use of the lower power... . nG

No need for two threads asking the exact same thing. nG -
Stuff a little polyfill in if you want, and what power will you be using? nG

Cools, I love downfiring... done quite a few at the shop. nG

You are an imbicile. The MTX9500 IMO, has better SQ than the BTL... and gets quite loud off of little power. 1000-1500rms. The BTL, has the ability to get louder, and will take QUITE a bit more power. nG

Neither of the things in question are killing your brakes. Just an :fyi: nG

Good luck. Jason made GIGANTIC door buildouts, HUGE... they came out to .54cubes He tried using a flared 1.5port, all the way up to a 2.5 I believe... and he got noise... Supposedly. I always thought it was just because of the tones he was playing... Anyways. Mine are sealed in ~.2cubes... and I cross them @40hz... active... and they sound great... nG

I like my TiteBond II's... nG

It was an entry level woofer featuring a 2" VC and ~300rms power handling. nG

Or you could use AeroPorts, and either swap out PVC lengths for daily/SPL... or plug up one port for daily (to lower tuning). I did this one summer when I competed, had 4 4" Aeroports, external, and had my SPL length PVC and daily length PVC. nG
