what i actually want to do on my car is have a decal on the back, inside the car... so its like stealthy but visible.... but thats because i have a black car, black grill, soon to be black wheels (chrome lip), and soon black tail lights... can i do that whit a regular white decal or am i going to have to get one custom made thats backwards or something from a local tint shop? idk i dont currently have any decals..

just wondering, does anyone have all the paramaters on the 15 they could like copy and paste to me? i wanted to plot it on winISD pro... im learning how to mes withnthis program... just thought id use my own driver lol. thanks!

well i guess its official that its 24mm since the boss says so lol. just didnt sound right, my avalanche has 27 mm and i was just wondering which cone was to move further (just to watch i know xmax is not nearly everything, but its cool lol) and denim, i think im going to do ported, im young so i like the whole really loud thing, although i also love the clarity of a good subwoofer while everyone else has L7s and rockford crap... i want them to stop saying stereo integrity is crap just because theyve never head of them, i had my avalanche hit harder than 4 12 CVRs...(though 4 12 CVRs should have killed me).... yet they still have trouble believing me about underground companies and my box building abilities.... its time for me to make a statement lol. but thanks alot guys, i hope to get working on my box as soon as possible between highschool, college classes, work, and friends lol. i'll let ya guys know how it sounds, although im sure you know the answer...

darn your the first person to say do 2 sealed. lol. now i have to second guess myself... but i think i am going to still go ported because i spent part of my day drawing everything up lol. ... and 24mm of xmax doesnt sound right for 3inch P2P excursion.....

awesome man. just curious.. what was your last system? subs and amps... and ported or sealed? i see you got a kinetic battery... how do you like it? i think im gonna get the monster to go with a 250A alternator when i get another 1000/1.

i bet if i build the 8cuft 28hz tune with 8 4 inch flared aero ports i will want the second 1000/1 so badly it wont be too long until i find the cash lol. probably like 3 months though... thanks for your opinions guys. i guess i'll have to get working on it. im gonna do either 1.5 or 1.25 inch thick walls, this box is going to be a beast... and again, does anybody know the xmax of a 15 mag?

well why dont you call ED? they will tell you no though. not for daily setup.

""looseness" and our drivers don't go hand-in-hand. Looseness or boomy bass in ported enclosures is a factor of one one or two of the following: the driver; the enclosure. When either of the latter aren't working you have the boomy response that is associated with a lot of the big-woofer, ported-enclosure frame of mind. Take one of our 15's and put it in our recommended enclosure and you'll have a hard time finding any room for the words "boomy" or "loose" unless you built the enclosure wrong or have horrible amplfication/processing. " you say if its in a rec. enclosure. what do you think about if i had 2 15 mags in a single 9 cuft net enclosure tuned to 30hz with 150 SI of port area. thats my plan for right now. and i want to do interchangable ports so i can drop in a 40-45hz port with 180SI or port area for comps. i will be using 2 1000/1s form JL daily and maybe a different amp i can wire to 1/2 ohm load for comps. reason i ask is because i am still very SQ inclined even though i love it loud and hard lol. i like the punchy bass in rock even though i dont listen to it and i also like the lows like late night tip and even lower songs. im going from an avalanche 15 from ascendant audio so you have big shoes to fill. i hope you can get the job done, i think so. but unfortunetly i cant afford them for a few months because im starting up a small install business. being that im only 17 all my money is going into that until i start making money from it. thanks in advance.

I used to have a 15 inch avalanche and i LOVED it. i would have ran 2 but they stopped making them. im looking for a great setup that is an LSQ setup which hits the lows GREAT. i want it to be hard to breathe in the car. im thinking of maybe 2 SI mag 15s with probably a 1000/1 on each. will probably be 8cuft ported tuned to 30hz. has anyone heard an avalanche 15 that can compare them? i have 4 15 RE SEs right now but i only installed one and i decided they were not what im looking for. any help will be appreciated thank you.

its going in a 2002 escalade.i really want to take a chance of buying the si mags but im so picky with my sound preferance and i dont want to waste any money. i might get my ava reconed and buy another and run 2 zapco 750s. or possibly run 2 mags with 2 1000/1s. both ported, 28-30 hz tune. 4 cuft each sub. as much port area as i can. thanks for your reply guys.
