MINI Cooper S' come with the battery in the cargo area, vented just like the post above mine, worked fine till I replaced it with XS.

I've never had this kind of problem with FedEx. Whenever I have gotten stuff from FedEx the box's are always in great condition, every time I get something from UPS it looks like they tied the box to the bumper and drove it to my house. Glad the sub is working for you and you are enjoying it though! I definitely enjoyed my Q when I had it.

And this is a good thing how? OP, please disregard this useless information and never run your amp below 9 volts. Smh Did I say dropping that low is a good thing? No. Is it a good thing that the amplifier can actually handle it in case it does happen? Yes. Just saying these amps take a beating.

I run the AQ2200, and I like it. The amp takes a beating, I've demoed at idle for 1hr+ and dipped down into the 9's and the amp wasn't hot afterwards, just a little warm.

Plan from the beginning was to get another aq2200 later down the road. I have my Singer alt sitting in my room, just need time to take the front half of the car apart to install it. Little hard since it is my daily driver. After I install that and grab another kinetik 2400 I can double the power safely!

Not very active here, but figured I'd share some videos of my car. Clips used were just some random clips I have had sitting on my phone for a while and finally decided to throw together and upload. Also, I can never remember to take a video of the subs themselves playing, so tossing in a video a friend took and uploaded, showing some pretty crazy excursion on the subs and showing off the port a little. If you wanted to push 700 RMS why not have just bought the SSD's? But on topic, just go with what the site suggest, if they do good, raise the power up but stay clean with it, try it out n see how it works out for YOU.

I've always wondered....why do people feel the need to push an amp/sub/equipment to their limits instead of just going by the manufactures information?

I'd go with the BTL's, but that is just me. To Notorious, what do you mean they can play lower? Different kind of boxes tuned to different things have different outputs....but the Fs is lower on the BTL, than the Mayhems IIRC, but not by much.

I got the best idea.... Take all of those options you are thinking of, buy all of the subs and build boxes for each of them, and test them one at a time. Nobody can tell you they know for a FACT one of these setups will be louder/better than the other.

X2 those are only available in 12 inch , that very well be enough BOOM .... second hand is another option with that kind of budget , start looking in SSA's wanted/for sale topic off course ! Fi X comes in 10, 12, or 15". Not just 12" like you say...

I beat the crap out of my Fi Q almost everyday for 1hr+. Just like said before, a lot of people will throw 2x rated RMS onto a sub, and it will take it, for a little bit...
