thanks mayne. i guess the suspension is loosening up cause its starting to come alive down low.

thx man. yea i know im right on the edge with the box. im a low note junkie and listen to my music slowed (even rock and country) thats why i have tuned low. could always throw some blocks of wood in there to shrink the air space and raise tuning, but im happy with it so far. toast

came in yesterday, got her in and play with her for a lil while. figure i'd post some pics, know yall have seen em many times. pics are with a phone, kinda crappy quality. ya, i know its an ugly trunk, its not a show off trunk, no show, all go i havent had very many quality subs, so my review is pretty much worthless, but here goes. my last sub was an acoustic elegance c15.1, an old av clone, so thats all i have to compare this to, and this was a drop in replacement for that. first off, it looks gorgeous. got her in and wow, she sounds pretty good, not quite as musical as the ae, but not too much different. the ae sub kinda struggled with the higher bass notes being that my box is tuned low, but this sundown sub really pwns the ae in that respect. i put in richboy - go crazy screwed(ill up it if yall want me too), it has a 51hz bass note in it, and mf'er made my stablizer system engage, lol . the z15 doesnt get as loud at the low stuff as the ae, but it does get down there with some authority. all in all, im very happy with it. thank you sundown for a great sub. i am now a fan.

so you ripped out the oem radio completely? ive read the car wants the radio in the loop to avoid certain things like sleep problems. just wondering if you did the same. ive got a panasonic in mine, just relocated the bose in the trunk and ran new wire. Off topic but are those JL rims? lolol was this a joke that went over my head? lol

beautiful lac man. gotta question 4 ya, do you have an aftermarket hu in there? i reinstalled my bose hu into the trunk after a lot of searching to avoid sleep mode and security issues. just wondering if you did the same. pic of my lac

Really no reason to have it overnighted, it only took about 2 days at the most for the sub to get to me from when I ordered it. The biggest enclosure the Z15 can be put in is 4 ft^3 and 28hz is the lowest Jacob recommended tuning for these puppies. thank you sir, ordering now.
