Adding the stupid title "Best rca cable?" can you tell us how this post follows the guidelines you AGREED to when you joined the site? Full of fail, deserves no answer whatsoever. If it were my forum I would have deleted it and sent you a warning. I also guarantee the people who are scared of me and don't come here are full of fail as well. It is really obvious to see what the difference is when people actually try. Sorry state of today's youth if they aren't willing to try at least when they want help lol OMG... ok, you win. its all good for me , i got the answer i needed. and you... well you looked like a D/B again...

i need some help wiring my DC POWER DUAL BRACKET/alternator on my 05 f150 5.4l. I know its pcm controlled. so i dont want to fry anything in my truck its there a diagram i can follow ? i already have it installed.. i have the relay conected to the battery, grounded and ignition, WHAT ESLE DO I NEED TO WIRE???... please help, if you need more info letme know. thanks btw the realy does not showon this pic , but its wired just like i said.

So the big red wire is between the alt case and engine chassis? Kinda unnecessary but it won't pose any problems. -the big red wire goes from the stock alternator to my front battery (big 3) I only see one small red wire. Is the second one behind the relay that's zip tied? -theres 2 red wires coming from the relay, 1 goes to the stud on my dc alt and the other its ignition. Did you wire the red ignition wire to an aux switched 12v in the fuse box? Or tapped into stock alt ignition wiring? - i tapped into the fusebox The one small red wire I see, looks like it connects to a blue/purple wire and then goes directly into the front battery. <-Is this the ignition wire? If so, it shouldn't be on constant 12v. -that wire that goes from red to blue its my ignition wire , i tapped into the fusebox, so it does get constant 12v. Thanks for the help. i hope my DC ALT does not give me problems in the future...

red wire its from my big 3, alt to batt bluewire goes from dc alt to back batteries. and im not sure if u can see the relay on the pic , but it has 1 red cable to the dc alt stud ,1 white ground wire , 1 red ignition wire and the yellow wire to the dc alt plug,. heres a back shot of my box. i was gonna do a build log but got laaaazzy... lol thanksfor the help guys , gottA love SSA.

eveything its clear now, i think. i finished wiring everything up just like you said, wich was my original plan btw the stock alt its still coneccted. i just want to make sure my dc alt its working with just the realy wires.

I just want to clarify so we aren't confused, by 14v, your rear batteries are 12v and charge at 14.4v (although alt will likely charge at 15v) yes , sorry about that. Well I'm positive you can run a big wire (0/1) from the output stud to the rear(where just your stereo batteries are). The wire would connect to the positive terminal on the closest battery in the rear. The negative terminal on the batteries would be grounded to the frame. I would do the above because it would allow your h/o alt to charge and supply amperage directly to your stereo. Your stock alt should be able to run your stock electrical system with no issues. Plus I'm not sure what happens if you mix a stock alt and h/o alt to the same electrical system, one is charging at 13.5v-14.4v(stock alt) while the h/o alt will be doing 14.4v-15.4v (h/o alt). I have no experience with trying to do this. thats exactly what i was thinking, but some of my friends told me that i needed a wire from the dc alt to my front battery too... just wanted to confirm.... i guess ill try it huh ?...
